Re: Go Freo

Most of Sandilands hit outs went to our advantage last week - but he did okay around the ground. (The more hit outs he won, the happier I was). 100% On the subject of Ross, no matter our relative positions on the list, the Saints will never be as boring to watch again as we were with his game plan.

Re: Scott W talking to Umps Boss !!

Hey Pollyannas, let's pretend it's OK to miss all those sodas when kicking for goal, then we'll blame the admittedly pathetic umpiring. If the highly-paid princesses kicked straight we woulda bin 4 & 1 after next week. PS How about the defense against Feo's run and spread? Prepare yourselves for...

Of the players talked of as possible trades at the end of 2012, I think he is the most valuable and consistent. I will be pissed orf to see him even considered as a trade.

Re: Why I'm happy we got Pelchin.

Our future full backs may not turn their back on the ball, but I think many of the geese will look back on Zac and regret all their animosity. Sure he ain't great but he's big and he did kick that sealer against the scum.

Where are we at with the Blake?

Pardon my ignorance but thought we would have to p/up Jason Blake today. Not so?
I think he will be important for us next year especially now that Dawson has gawn. (I look forward to Zac turning his back to the oncoming ball for the purple.)

He ain't Robinson Crusoe, Bernard. Perhaps you could get a full-time position down at Seaford.

There are a few other clients.

I hope he hangs in with us.

Unfortunately, all the players are pieces of meat, no matter what we think of them. It was a meat market before the AFL stole our game. It's more blatant now.

Ask Malthouse in for an interview, when he gets to Seaford tell him, we already had a liar for a coach.

I sit in reserved seats - Level 1 on the wing during the H & A. Couldn't get anywhere near it at 9:30. Ticketmaster and the AFL stink to high heaven IMO.

I wish the AFL would give us our game back. Not bloody likely, what a farkin' circus.

Sure, the language is poor and the minds bereft, but I miss Bay 7 and all the funny as hell comments I heard when we were, usually, copping a flogging by the good sides. Compare that to my reserved seats at Eti, the homogenized bastard child of the AFL... The passionless proles who sit around me wou...

If we don't finish 1st., it's all a bit academic to me. I don't agree with the theory that getting flogged in a final is a good way to blood young players for finals experience. If I recall Alves' tenure it was a prelude to him getting the flick. If I recall GT's tenure it was a prelude to him getti...

The blanket coverage of Roo is a well known occurence. I agree entirely, it's a message Geelong seemed to have sussed out 2 years ago. It's a pity the coaching staff don't seem to have quite got the message, because they seem to persist in trying to reinvent a champion of the game, potentially the ...

No argument. Didn't he recruit Polo in his Richmond wasteland years? As he says he will be interested to watch their progress. I find it fairly uninteresting so far.

Temper the excitement lest ye get crushed with disappointment. All credit to the newbies but there is a long way to go for all of them. Remember when we flogged Collingwood 2 years ago by 90-some? Wellingham and Toovey played and were flayed. They are now premiership players - Lenny isn't. One of th...
