To get your forward tackles up, the ball has to enter our forward 50 for starters. If so, and turnovers are high, that's when the tackles should be up.
If entering our forward 50 on a regular basis and we control the ball in our 50 and score more often than not, our forward tackles will be low.

Seafood is a disaster already. Imagine having to work in the middle of nowhere after working in Moorabbin which is only 10 minutes drive from Brighton Hampton and Sandy. I'd be pissed off if I was a player. Don't most people look at work location when choosing a job??? Die Topsy Die! What a load of...

Absolutely - gets the ball then doesn't know what to do with it.

Lenny's good for a couple, Schnieds 3 - that's a total of 21. Add to that, Milney might have a day out and kick 10 (he kicked 11 once you'll remember).

Re: Season Fixtures.

Does anyone know where I can get a detailed 2011 footy fixture to hang on the wall to record all results throughout the season.? if you buy a record this week they have the big foldout fixtures inside. Thanks Dools. I think the Hun produced a full fixture but I no longer buy it (for obvious reasons...

Wonder why it's not on 7 or 10 as the Footy Channels - maybe they wouldn't give the Club airtime because it's a Club Positive.
Any way, great for 9 to show it following the Footy Show.

Just did a check of the Accounts. There is a Commercial Bill for $2,600,000 maturing October 2011 guaranteed by AFL - proberbly to do with the funding of Seaford.

Totally agree Eastern. It indicates to me that perhaps Michael isn't as capable a CEO as he is made out to be or he has little regard, respect for the everyday Saints supporter. No wonder we are going to fall well short of the 45,000 member target - in my opinion that is.

Jimmy Gwilt will play a bigger role this year by kicking long to position. Most noticeable was how the other back five would look to Gwilt who would then pump the ball forward with his raking left foot kicks. He was credited with most possessions against Geelong - so that's the plan.

Playing her in the forward pocket would be a great disadvantage because she wouldn't know if she was playing with the Saints or Collingwood or Sydney or Adelaide or a Player Manager or the Herald Sun.

Blake is too important to have as a sub as the sub may sit on the bench all day if we have a good run with no injuries. Blake as an interchange player could be useful. I would pick Tommy Walshe as the sub - a good intro for him into senior football. just because there are no injuries to the 18 on t...
