Re: Did Choco "choke"?
I for one applaud the club if Williams in fact did ask for over and above what we thought his services were worth both contract length and money. The club obviously refused to be bent over the way Melbourne was with Roos. IMHO even with the AFL paying the bill the Demons are doomed to repeat Blight ...

Re: St Kilda, a club in crisis. The Age
More hard to read, thinly veiled, doom and gloom, emotive adjective packed, bulls*** pot shots disguised as an article from Caro?
Does she ever write about anyone else? Her continuation with punishment by media for the Saints is bordering on total and complete obsession.

Re: New Co-Major Sponsor? !!
:D at all the gags. Revlon really? I suppose if they throw enough cash. I'm just not sure how the players would feel pulling on their jumpers with a big Revlon logo on it. Do you reckon the players give a rats what sponsors logo is on the jumper? The only people who will care are the neanderthal fa...

Re: StKFC.. The hapless 5 ring circus
Another day another poorly written article designed to sling thinly veiled attacks at St Kilda. It's getting laughable how many times these vultures can churn out the literary equivalent of kicking a man while he's down. The whole club seems to be taking a sit back and cop it on the chin approach wh...

Re: Message to members 4/11
I like the statement. We as members deserve to be kept in the loop and with all the turmoil surrounding the club right now if we don't take a stand we'll be a laughing stock forever. In regards to Dermie, the club needs to take that imbecile to task in a big way. Would any other club let a marginal ...

Re: Dermott loves our club now
Dermie is a wanker of the highest order. Why should anyone care what a washed up d**khead that is paid to run his mouth on the radio thinks? Some people hold grudges or hate for certain clubs for whatever reason and it comes out in their commentary. Luke Darcy is a shining example of this. Chuck in ...

Re: The Get Mark Williams Thread
I like the way Williams goes about it. He pulls no punches and knows how to rebuild a list. Develops youth well while keeping the experience around them. Plus tactically he is miles ahead of SW and any other rookie coach we could look at. He's been around long enough to get stuff done while not BSin...

Re: De Listings Today
Feel bad for Jackson but after 3 years and bringing in Delaney and Bruce the writing was on the wall. Playing key defense is never easy especially when you're coping a pasting and even worse if that's on debut and then getting hurt didn't do him any favors either. I'd still have given him maybe anot...

Re: St Kilda 2014 Fixture
It's not that bad. We actually avoid the Perth double for the first time I can remember off the top of my head. Still travel to Perth once, Adelaide twice, Geelong (which might as well be another state), Tasmania, Queensland, Sydney and NZ (by choice but still) The pre-season fixture with the Dogs a...

Re: Reports saints will sign Jolly
I don't want the club to pick up Jolly. If we do i'd like it to be on the rookie list. If we are planning on using him as pure injury cover and mostly as a ruck coach I see no need to spend a senior list spot on him. However if the club decides we need cover for Longer and Hickey, who will no doubt ...

Re: Who Do We Pick - 3/18/19 Predictions ..
I think it will be one of Aish, Kelly or Billings at #3. Looking at the video highlights and interviews with each player i'd be happy with any of the 3. No real preference because I think they will all become stars Id love Salem to slip through to 18/19 but I doubt that will happen. 18 - Dunstan 19 ...

Re: Reports saints will sign Jolly
If Longer and Hickey go down id much rather give Lewis Pierce a run in the ruck. He'll be the future and while he might not be 100% ready he'd be better than a noted d**khead like Jolly. We don't need any more of his ilk around the club

Re: Interesting players
I think Tom Lee will be an absolute gun in a year or 2. Put on some size towards the end of the year and it helped his game to a huge degree. Being around star forwards like Roo will do him absolute wonders in his development. I think as the delivery into the forward line improves with the elite use...

We went in with a plan and we executed it to perfection. We got what we wanted and more. Gains: 2 young big bodied key position defenders that will walk into the team if fit for at least the NAB Cup, a significant upgrade on our #1 ruckman and a quick mid with nice skills. Not to mention not losing ...

Best suited to a forward role. Big and athletic he could cause havoc as a tall forward pocket or use his pace to push up the ground on half forward. I reckon last season gave him some pretty good lessons on how a defender thinks. It may make him a better forward. Needs to do it pretty quick though B...

What a trade period for us. CHB and FB sorted for the near future a gun ruckman for up to a decade and a very very good midfielder all within an age range we've struggled in. The pelican has done a great job

Re: Official Trade Rumours thread (all in here please)
Id be concerned about Melbourne trumping us and picking up Bruce at #2 in the PSD before we can get to him. They've been down a long time and Roos is there on a million bucks or more a year because the board and fans are sick of them being s***. They have shown by shipping pick 2 to GWS for Tyson th...
