i think we found with CJ how far behind the AFL the WAFL is. CJ was reputedly a gun at the WAFL, 3rd best in teh competition on form. at AFL level he looks lost and skillless. by all accounts CJ is earning his keep in the VFL. with the retirements will get a second year and we all hope he improves....

Is too much of a risk. Even at a bargain basement price, I question the philosophy of trying to plug gaps with guys who are tapering off rather than on the up. Heard Ken Judge, Glenn Mitchell and Kim Hughes talking about him a few weeks back and they were raising the issue of his viability as an AFL...

Thank god for that. I've had the utmost respect for Aaron as a player and now I've got respect for him in acknowledging that his body's not up to it any more. The writing's been on the wall for a couple of years, he gave it everything he had to recover, but has now done the right thing by the club.

Yes, he ticks all the boxes in rucking ability and ability to contribute around the ground. But why take on another player in the second half of his career with question marks over fitness on the say so of the medicos? The medicos said Gardiner was fine, they've been saying Hamill will be fine for t...

Sorry bot. I thought I'd cleared it but it popped back up again. Should be ok now thanks for that...fwiw i agree with you...id rather develop a young ruckman with heaps of potential, in hope that he will eventually turn good rather than grab another 'matt clarke' who can ease the pressure for a yea...

Agree that it's an area of concern, but no point filling holes with quicksand, again. IMO we do not want another recycled injury prone past his best ruckman who can't beat Blake for a place in the Geelong team.

FAIR DINKUM. Trade Goose. No way. 22 y.o. His best footy in front of him. Can be the backbone of our defense for 8 - 10 years. Trade him for an early pick who may or may not turn out ok. Madness. He's untouchable IMO unless it's a seriously good offer like Judd or Cox or Chad Cornes for example. Oth...

Is it possible that the sacred meteorites were influenced by a darkening of the moon? For when I gaze upwards at night, I see the moon with the face of a cat upon it. Could this not also be a prophecy?

Last year same time, we were talking about McDonald. He'd be as bad a bet as Gardiner. No way.
Hudson, well, another one on the decline from a hardly lofty peak. Give 'em both a miss and concentrate on developing young guys or picking up someone with genuine ruck cred. I'd take Jolly.

Great news. My respect for the man and the humble way he goes about his business is huge. The ultimate team man, no fuss, what an out and out champion. By the way, can any one tell me if Harves has ever been reported? I suspect not, I can't remember any incidents. To play for that long and never gra...

Absolutely no way. The last thing we need is another re-cycled failure from another club with a huge question mark over him. Hard enough for him being in Perth away from his family in Broome. How do you think he'll go in Melb. in the middle of winter?
Definite no from me.

Only if the deal is skewed in our favour. It would have to be a very late pick or bottom 10 player and a late pick at worst.
