Re: Changes for Gold Coast
WCE only kicked 10 goals, so the defence is reasonably sound, and no change there needed. Need to get more of the ball in the midfield, and need better marking options in the forward half as the WCE backs just got a few too many intercepts marks, or won marking duels. Owens and Caminiti should be ma...

Re: West Coast recent home record
A good win in the west for us, but let's not get too carried away. WCE were undermanned in their forward half with Waterman out, who is a consistent goal kicker for them this season, and we only won by a couple of goals after playing an ordinary first half. I think this is what Enright was saying ab...

Re: Sandringham v Frankston
Just watched the replay of the last qtr (jet lag interrupted sleep) Sharman looked a class above that qtr. His last goal was also a credit to work rate- he started the transition defensive side of the wing and then followed up to ultimately finish the play too. He is the exact sort of player you do...

Re: Let's Talk About the Elephant In the Room
Bonner is a handy player and gets enough of the ball to stay in, the odd stuff-up isn't just limited to him. Shoemaker looks comfortable at VFL level, but until he gets senior game we will never know what to expect.

Another thread high jacked by the usual Introducing such presumptive dribble Yes, we get it Lyon, in the financial circumstances he was in at the time, took the money and ran from St Kilda to Fremantle And now the despicable turncoat who should have been castrated for his offence has, by invitation...

Pathetic midfield effort at the start of Q4, need a lot more effort and not have Steele playing behind his man.

Re: No injuries - No excuses
Collingwood has an injury list nearly as long as Richmond and should have beat Freo at home with 6 players having less than 10 games experience! The excuse-makers and mediocrity-accepters on here and around the club have been using injuries and young players as "the reason" for a pitiful ...

Re: For the "In Ross we Trust" brigade
Of course it's not Ross' job to develop apprentice or specialist coaches, is it. And by the way, be cautious of cause and effect linkages. E.G. do great teams inherently contain chaps that are natural coaches and pursue or ....... Will Fly be credited if Pendlebury becomes a good coach. If it's onl...

Re: Fingers crossed🤞 or we’re doomed.
Torrential rain is forecast for Perth late Saturday afternoon. Hopefully it arrives around midday to even up the skill and speed deficiency we have through the middle and down the spine. If there’s fine weather and the noise of affirmation is added….things will be looking gloomy. Usually fumbling a...

Re: Membrey
Tim found form at Sandy and clearly is fit and uninjured, probably gained some confidence, so as an experienced player, gets a recall. Must say Butler looked off the pace last week, but clearly the small defensive forward role is failing, like most other things at the moment, and Butler knows how to...

Re: Kane Cork Sucker
He doesn't say St Kilda should trade King, he says for the sake of his own career he should look to move to a club that will utilise his skills. Yes, it is an article designed to be controversial but it is not definitively wrong. King would look better in a team that was more attack focused. Ross's...

Should have dropped the entire midfield, they are dragging the team down, and mixed with Lyon's stagnation game, we will go nowhere in a hurry.

Re: Match Day Demons v Saints
I will tell you why Bonner stuffed up because we have no one forward of the ball to kick to. Ross Lyon is a soccer coach who thinks there's an off-side rule in AFL. Horse shyte All he had to do was hit a target Stop talking out your arse Slack kick, sort of hard to hit targets when your teammates a...

Re: Ross Lyon Looks ahead to Narrm - Pressser
Loved Ratts I didn't have a problem with him, he had the same problem Lyon is having with regards to access to his first choice players. It's always been a really hard club to coach for one reason and one reason alone, lack of talent. It's perpetually frustrating that most of our fans don't get tha...

Re: Ross Lyon Looks ahead to Narrm - Pressser
If Lyon wasn't our coach, there is no way we play finals last year with the injuries we had for the first half of the season. No chance! A few weeks ago, we would have beaten by twice as much against the Dogs if he wasn't coaching. RTB can clearly coach, and I am certainly a lot more confident in o...

Re: Team Saints V Melbourne
This is a game we can win by playing attacking, positive football, exploiting Melbourne's lack of real leg speed. That's what West Coast did, apparently ... I didn't watch the game. If Lyon allows the game to open up, by shelving his negative lame plan, we should win on the MCG. You know Lyon will ...
