Of course we need to keep going the whole match it is a preliminary final. But if we come out half asleep after a week off it will be hard to peg them back. They have had a weakness against the better sides in the first quarter, and yes they do come home like a stem train so even more reson to be on...

First Quarter
The first quarter is vital tonight. The Bulldogs will throw everything at us early as they will be mindful that we have lead them at quarter time in both games this year. They will also be mindful of the fact that Geelong jumped them two weeks ago. We have had the week off but we must be ready to go...

Kosi
Was just looking at the pictures from todays training on the HUN website and noticed the following.
Kosi was in a tracksuite top not the white training top and that his right leg has a pressure bandage on it from his ankle upto his knee.
Has anyone heard anything about a potential injury concern?

For far too long the ST Kilda Fooball club has been about individuals and not the team. If we win the premiership this year I do not care who the 22 are. Love Max as a player and if fully fit I would pick him ahead of both Blake and Dawson but there has got to be some doubt on his ability to get thr...

Hope they are resting and not all injured. We are still a chance to win, the Hawthorn side named is nothing like their premiership side. Their backline has only two of their premiership team in it. The issue will be the midfield but if it is wet we still have some guys that can win the football, plu...

No idea if he is playing or not, but worth noting that on Thursday McEvoy was dropped out of the team not even in the squad. Last night however when the final team was announced he was all of a sudden listed as an emergency. My guess would be that Gardiner must be at least under an injury cloud, why...

Maquire on his VFL form is not a walk up start, he is going okay but not great. Geelong have two key forwards, we have Dawson, Blake and Fisher plus Gilbert who can play tall we did not need an extra tall this week. What we need is a third forward or some one that can match up on the likes of Varcoe...

Firstly he has done well to get back playing and he looks very fit. His body must be going well as he has now strung together half a season. Having seen him play now on 3 occassions this year , the reality is that he is just not the same player. Not that I would expect him to be given the severity o...

Saw the whole game and must say that Sandringhams kicking was a disgrace. The delivery to the forward line was terrible with long bombs to Sautner who was competing with two to three players on occassions. My rap on our players would be as follows. Leigh Fisher - Played an okay game, but I would thi...

Would have thought that most of our players have played in enough finals to not worry about big crowds. If we were worried about the croud, I doubt that we would have started so well. Statistically Carlton have are ranked in the topr four, and Riewoldt was saying this at the end of the game. A side ...

I remember catching the train in before the Collingwood game in 2004. there was a rather rude and loud bunch of Collingwood supporters on the train. As well as the abuse and swearing they were dishing out, they were telling all that we had not beaten anyone and that they would fix us up and prove th...

No problem with the club trying to maximise revenue by having the seats sold at the market rate. Told this to the club when I met with them.Seems to me there is two issues with this. First one is there are supporters who can not afford it, they do not want to sit in one of the other cheaper seats as...

Could have sworn that the club removed the requirement for being a social club member for wing seats on level 1 in about 2001 or 2002. I have a number of family members who sit on this level and none of them are social club members any longer as it is not required. Regardless of whether the seats on...

Hey GrumpyOne nothing to do with hip pocket, i offered a suggestion that would have cost me more, and i can tell you that Foxtel is costing me more, it is about principal. The club bangs on about loyalty but it it is all one way. Am over it and have moved on but am entitled to have my say. Reckon af...

Eastern, I emailed the club and met face to face with a member of the membership department. I put a proposal forward to him that would have been more money in the clubs pocket and was told no. In my case i was a social club member but had a second reserve seat for my five year old son who has not b...

That is rubbish i went to the club and spoke face to face with the membership coordinator and they expalined why THEY took the decision. Also have an email from them stating why. No mention of the AFL whatsoever. The reason is the fact that they have a waiting list of over 500 people for level two. ...
