and someone who's good with caricatures...

I like "Lyon's Pride" on the front with his mug and a saints halo - and "PLEASING" on the back

Black T shirts with white and red print are best - hoodies even better!!!! (Long Sleeve T's / windcheaters good too....)

The depleted stands during 4th quarter was pretty telling - I'd reckon about 26,000 remained, 18,000 of which were saints

Given Goose's 5 goal bag with the Zebs last week which turned the game around by switching him forward, surely Kosi's the guy that needs to step aside and get some form to make way for Goose, if he's ready You are obviously just taking the piss here and are not serious are you??? I'm always worried, even more so that my 5 year old has tipped the Pies to win and he's creaming the tipping at the moment - reckons the inclusion of Steele Sidebottom is the big X factor and we wont know how to match up on him - I think that's maybe his mum talking tho

Re: the Zach attack!!

With the likely inclusion of A.Rocca for the game against the pies it is a perfect opportunity for Dawson to settle some old demons of which every football follower rememebers him for. i for one am sick of him being introduced as the kid who got manhandled by Rocca a few years back every time a com...

I think it's more his low centre of gravity - let him grow a mo. and give him a wavy wig - he'd be the image of Leigh Matthews in his prime

Its an absolute corker - have read it twice. My favorite part is him telling about the "snow" that involved ripping up phone books and throwing the torn squares in the air when a goal was kicked. The funny part was when he was at Geelong and reached out and grabbed a piece of "snow&qu...

I've been thinking a bit about this recently, especially with the talk about Sam Gilbert being approached by GC Think about it, for the last 6-7 years you've been living in Australia's most liveable city, established a social network, a lifestyle etc etc. Why would anyone like Roo, with all this in ...

given that games wont be played at Seaford, I dont see it as extending our supporter base or realm of influence like it did moving to Moorabbin in 65. I like the idea of Moorabbin, being more central in the greater scheme of Southern / Bayside suburbs if that is indeed our heartland / turf these day...

Absolute Saint Legend!!! I was a bit disconcerted with posts last year when asking about his status and many here wrote him off and put that he was finished. My grandparents used to have on old St Kilda jumper in a linen closet that apparently belonged to Eric Guy. Unaware of its significance, I butchered the badge (and put holes in the jumper) trying to unstitch it to put it on my little Saints jumper of the time. I didnt get in that much trouble as it ...

Earliest Saints memories...

Driving down Linton Street late last year and seeing the old grandstand, turnstiles, social club etc really took me back to my earliest memories of VFL / AFL football. Having since driven past to see the progress of the demolition and getting that overwhelming deep seated sadness of something that w...

I'm disappointed it was gesture to his brother and one of solidarity (however unintended) to crims in general who've been incarcerated or under cuffs. Brave post Joffa. My worry leading into the game last night was the absence of Harves who IMO was always the main reason we beat the Crows at AAMI through his extra effort and lift. The fact that we did it without the great man is a really significant development. I think that doing it also without ...
