Re: Sandringham vs Werribee
Think Spencer White will win the goal and mark of the day on ABC...he was one very happy guy after the game... The Sandy players went behind closed doors and voted among themselves who they thought was the player of the day and Terry Milera gor the vote... A very good team effort today..lots of stan...

Re: Sandringham Games, News and Reviews 2013
Can anyone tell me if Jay Lever is playing in defence or is he still being used in the ruck. Big wraps on him as A CHB as a junior. How much has he progressed since last year ? Used as a bit of both..ruck and defence...still needs time...played mainly reserves last year...has played seniors this ye...

Port Melbourne player Sam O'Sullivan hit Sammy Dunell behind play, fair and square in head. Dunell went down and came from ground. No gameday report but will be looked at on video. Happened right in front of me. Should get weeks if footage i clear and it was caught, if not he got away with one. Por...

Re: Sandringham Games, News and Reviews 2013
Too busy before the game helping to organise the jumpers..we had new jumpers this week and 7 players had to change from their original number to a new one as they didn't fit properly.. I was wondering what happened there. Shouldnt Lucas be helping you? Lucas was the runner for the 2's, then over th...

Re: Sandringham Games, News and Reviews 2013
Staley played his best game at Sandy today...Simon McPhee singled him out in the post match address... Agree the umpiring was inconsistent to say the least...both sides received dubious frees at different stages...and some of the 50 metre penalties for minor infringements were hard to swallow. Pity ...

Re: Sandy today
Thought Simpkin was average, clumsy and sloppy by foot... Easy day for a defender, wet and windy... No fwd could dominate Kosi was excellent, basically was captain coach of the fwd line and worked hard on the ball after shep went down. Slow, but contested well. Schnieder was so far above VFL level ...

Re: Sandringham Off Season news 2012/2013
BigMart, You're probably right... In an ideal world, St Kilda would have their own reserves team and Sandy would go stand alone. However...that is not the case so we have to try and make the best out of what we have got and as Plugger stated, with a 20 ( or more ) team comp then it would be pretty h...

Agree. It's a must. Our development of young players is being hindered, not only by not having our own VFL team but playing at Sandy. The ground is too small and not good for developing players. Both Geelong and Collingwood play their home games on far better grounds. Sam Dunell seems to have devel...
