Re: Crows v Saints match thread
Once again our kicking skills are that of a bottom 2 side! Our kicking at goal and field kicking prevented us from putting any pressure on Adelaide at all. Why is it we have so many players that cant hit a target under any sort of pressure? Surely we have a better match up for Betts than Dempster! ...

All channel 7 said he is awake and " in good hands" not sure that is providing any consultation considering the silence from the club.

What is concerning the club is not forwarding news onto Foxtel. I feel sick thinking about what may have happened.

This is not good about Nick. Nothing further since they said he's been taken to hospital and he didn't seem to be moving even when in the rooms.

Re: Replay on 504 after this game
Curses to Foxtel, I checked the app, paper guide and remote guide. Should have believed the paper guide, now like the others I'll have to wait until Tuesday morning.
We pay high money to Rupert & Co and they can't get a simple piece of information for their customers.

It says in the paper guide 1 00am tomorrow guide but on the app it says Tuesday, meanwhile Freo & EFC get two repeats.
That can't be right.

Re: Metro Trains
Thanks ORT. I think I'll try the trams this week. Last week I was just trying to get back to Flinders St and caught a Greensborough train. I reckon it stopped at platform 9 and 3/4 at Flinders St. It went way past the normal platforms and dumped about 300 people halfway to Jolimont with a gap that ...

No disagreement from me it was pathetic and btw they can keep him.
But I thought the AFL scrutinized the banners to make sure they weren't objectionable with the comments.
Clearly the AFL gave the go ahead.

And let's not forget that for the three years the Brisbsne Lions won their premierships, they had losses of over $2 million each year. That was when they were at their pinnacle so how bad are their finances now? Stadium deals with the Gabba Trust ( sound familiar?) Maybe someone on this forum will h...

Go to www.metrotrains.com.au for further details. Frankston, Cranbourne & Sandringham , Hurstbridge are going to Flinders Street and not through the Loop. Glen Waverley have track works between Burnley and Glen Waverley so it's buses. And there is a fun run on Beach Road starting about 7pm and f...

Re: Saints Five Million dollars in debt
Look at this as a positive - one of the main problems with Seaford has been none of us feel any kind of ownership or connection with the place. The return to Moorabbin can be about every one of us Saints devotees making a contribution, no matter how small or big, on the return of the Saints to Moora...

Reading the articles in the Wellington newspaper since Saturday night, the tone is not really positive in terms of crowd numbers and attracting Kiwis devotees of the game. There was no mention of the positive attraction of tourist dollars into the area. And at this stage it hasn't got to the point o...

Re: 63% disposal efficiency 55 clangers
Instead of looking to blame the players, could we please go back to the basics of football? That is The Golden Rule of Football-never kick across across the front of goal in the backline. When the team plays free flowing, moving it along and straight into the goal square (instead of via Cape Horn) t...
