Fox Report Round 2:

A good win.

Still concerned about the way Ross Lyon holds the phone in the coach's box. Look's like the body language of some one who is clearly struggling as a senior coach. Still, I realized this after 3 months.

Unless this is addressed, we'll finish bottom 4.

Good luck hoping that some people won't take it the wrong way. Without doubt, this is a new era, and I reckon it has a lot to do with new ideas and people from the outside who are bringing "premiership" ideas and leadership to the club... as opposed to Harvey leaving. Yes, we have s...

I'd be more worried about Milne. Only value if he kicks a goal. Adds nothing else. With all due respect..rubbish. His pressure on the ball carrier is first rate so far this year , and a lot more of his tackles are sticking Thought his defensive game terrific tonight      ...

Gram had a simular start to last year, but mid year he began to come good. He does have some problems with his knees, gathered from a rumour I heard last year. Not everyone is going to be in form after round 2.....it's just not possible. it just sounds like an excuse though... he is dreadfully out ...

Id have Jones in for Mini at present Really? I thought Mini was in our top 5 against the Crows. Starting to show what he promised at junior level. Mini is a tough little cracker and will keep his place. Not a super mid, but that's not his job. He is - in the words of Lethal - one of the lesser tale...

The only negative I can find with MG is that his current form is dredging up old traumatic memories from when he'd taunt us with WCE.

Here's hoping I'll need therapy for the entire season.

His work at the centre bounces reminded me of a young 35.

He'll be fine.

Interesting to watch the ball movement on AFL live and how we work it around the arc before going in.

Also, Schneids has increased his workrate in tackles and pressure. I think that's why they want Gilbo up fwd... he'll also privde fwd pressure.

Dawson slipped a bit from last week. Wasn't terrible at all but got beaten a few times by Tippet. Max is still the far better option and would walk in for zac no questions asked. But Dawson has shown enough in the last 2 games, IMHO, to make one think he is going to play some significant footy for ...

Re: Lyon: Leigh Tudor Getting Job Done

Massive wrap for Tudor...slight backhander to Barker.. Lyon said fwd 50 defensive pressure was a focus of his from day 1 BUT Leigh Tudor has been able to get it done.......nice pat on the back from a senior coach. I thought Kosi was also excellentg on that tonight. I didn't pick up between the line...

Yes that is right...the article did not have the Saints as winning a flag...but just that the Saints were now in a position to challenge.
Well, he was pretty much spot on... after tonight's win.

I think you missed all the chasing and pressure he put on tonight. He has improved hugely in this regard.
Maybe. But I'm still not convinced. He did ok in the 4th.

Gwilt did more in close than you think, he was strong in the contest and didn't turn the ball over in close. Much underrated I reckon. Agree on Bakes, geez he's bloody good. I actually watched him closely because he's my fairytale-in-waiting player. Still reckon his 1st half was poor. Then again, I...

Dal backs it up...

Did great in the middle clearances, and great to see him attacking, instead of sweeping up across half back.

Kudos to the boy.

Re: Leave Kosi at CHF....

I have been saying for years....CHF is the spot for Kosi.. Sure let him roam occassionally...but CHF is where he can had maximum value to the Saints team. Particualy now that Gardi and King are working well in the ruck and around the ground. Once Roo & Schneider can both run into full match con...

Never let it be said that the palyers are not behind RL. It takes massive effort to to the hard things... according to Lethal.

That is what hurts us....MORE than any other area... Gram, Montaga, Blake, Hayes, Ball and a few other.....BUTCHER the ball.. we DO not get reward - often for OUTSTANDING effort.... BTW - Gram is the MAIN offender have to agree ,and it's very frustrating to watch........ So is your avatar. Ma...

how did Gwilt go?
Looked flat footed. Did nothing until they put him back. Will be lucky to hold his spot next week.

Geary did ok as the game went on IMO.

U don't realize how much we missed Baker.
