Pretty rare in a 16 goal thrashing you'd only have two of your mids kick goals.

Gears will be the sub you'd think?

Been over a year since his last AFL game? Or is my memory horrible?

Could he possibly have a crack at that hff role Armo has been running, Armo into the middle, Dal/BJ to hbf to give us some rebound class.

You could definitely see the change in mindset in the 2nd quarter, players looking to kick backwards and side ways. WHile first quarter we ran into space and played on as much as possible.
3rd quarter shows we still haven't quite got there.

Apart from BT and Roos Foxtel's team is pretty poor.

Saturday their main weakness was the calls on frees for us.

The biggest annoyance with Fox is them showing a replay of a dropped mark while play is continuing..

Yeah, he may be due for another call of duty. Ryan Gamble simply doesn't cut the mustard. I hate to be mean. But Gamble is simply not AFL standard. Good country footballer. Probably heading to de-listville . I think Polo Armo Gram and Gamble were our 4 worst today. Disagree Con. Think if he could b...

Just curious, Why is it when Roo is blanketed by 2 or 3 opponents and only kicks a couple of goals, his direct opponent is lauded by most? Funnily enough, the Fox boys were raving about Hansen's job to half time on Riewoldt when he had 9 marks and 3 goals! Petrie took nine contested marks last week...

So blame Dawson for needing the team to help him out against one of the best contested marks in the game?

You reckon Collingwood or Geelong would have played Petrie one on one all night? What a joke.

I'm no Gram fan, but I don't remember Thomas doing anything to help his side win the game.

Did that make you feel better? Will you sleep easier tonight? Wasn't the question I asked and other runners HAVE made the same error in the past. So do you want to try again? Any chance you could learn the rule? It's called "interference in general play". When your runner runs through the...

When have you EVER seen free kick given when a runner runs over the mark of a player from his own team? When? I want round number, team and the year cause I sure as effin well haven't!!!! You don't see it because most Runners are familiar with the rules. Clearly ours aren't. Did that make you feel ...

Was that the one with Jimmy?
No that was Baker.. He had to turn around because of Stokes hold, as soon as he did the whistle went.

The last 5 mins of the 3rd quarter was a joke, decision after decision helped the Cats restore their lead.

Baker wasn't paid the mark for touched off the boot. However, he still should have got the free for a push in the back.

Armitage ?

Why is this bloke playing forward? Possibly our best at getting first hands to it in the clearances, great tackler, usually has a positive impact at the contest. I feel he is wasted up forward, he's not a marking target, pretty surprised he managed to kick three. Surely this bloke is a better midfie...

Gram's kick that I assume was aimed at Gamble, but fell 30 metres short was probably the worst turnover of career, and he's got a fair amount to choose from.

Gilbert showed signs at times, but did cost us at least 2 goals from kicks straight to Cats.

Yesterday we saw how good this bloke can be. At his best he can be a match winner.
His worst? well have a look at a couple of Grand Finals.

I'm a big fan of his, he's one of the best kicks in the side, but he knows how to let the team down.

The guy can kick 10 metres backwards, or 60 metres forwards :)
But only as a last resort.

They stand just behind the man on the mark and wait for play on to be called then move in.

We either add a tall up forward and have a shoot out, or add another down back. Adelaide used the tall forward line against Carlton and nearly stole the game. Last two years this wouldn't have been an issue as our help defence was so good, but as we saw against Brisbane, one out the shorter defender...
