Re: Rumour Thread
I would love to sign Clinton Young from Hawthorn, he is an unrestricted free agent, classy player great penetrating left foot with run and carry. Averaged 20 disposals a game this year for the Hawks. Could play him off the HBF and on a wing like Goddard. Could be a good replacement for Goddard and h...

Stevens: Tough, inside midfielder with ferocious attack on both ball and player. Contested ball winning ability and strong hands overhead are strengths. Vic Country U18 representative in 2009. Recovering from minor knee surgery so was unable to participate at Draft Camp. Averaged 26 disposals in nin...

I'm with you on Mitch Brown. A Victorian lad who is turning 24 in December. He has spent 6 years on West Coast's list so he has the body. (195cm, 94kg). Was a first round draft pick in 2006 so there is obviously some talent there. However he is quite injury prone. He will find it hard to break into ...

Re: Rumour Thread
This doesn't make sense to me but i hear essendon are sounding out Dal. Not sure why they would given Goddard could go as a free agent but it came from a media contact. Take it as you will. Dal is contracted for next season so unless we trade him he won't be leaving. Pelchen must have a massive reb...

Re: Jonathan Giles?
I read an article before saying the Giants want a key defender in a trade for Giles. So unless the Giants consider Raph to be a key defender I don't think we are much of a chance, and I'm not sure that Macca and Giles can play in the same side.

Re: Rumour Thread
Was looking at the list today, what will happen with CJ? Could we be offering him and Winmar (another WA boy) up to trade to Freo? What would we want from Freo though... It's hard to know with CJ, we are either trying to fix his kicking (if that is possible), in hope he can become a more attacking ...

Re: Rumour Thread
Broughton rumour - there's a new one. A possession accumulating half back that gets killed under Rossy for playing a tight tag. Not his style - probably hating his footy? Relatively young and can play mid. Did you just make this rumour up or is there something behind it? Because I can't see him wan...

Chris Dawes is a log, how he gets a game is beyond me, Cloke isn't too far behind him either, if any team is stupid enough to give Cloke $1m a year then good luck to em.
No Thanks!

Re: That was the end of the hope which sprung in 2003
WTF is with all the negativity on this forum? FFS move on, good players come and go, s**t happens!! Take a look at Geelong, who says we can't do the same thing next year?!!! This season is gone, get over it you could not honestly have thought that we were going to win the flag this year anyway. We w...

Re: What happened to Terry Milera?
What happened was he played the first 13 games of the season, and then was dropped to the VFL and hasn't played since because the club wouldn't want to wreck his body, which needs a lot of work if he is to become a regular first team player.

Season 2013 begins now
Any small hope we had of Richmond knocking off Fremantle is gone, and consequently our season is sadly over. But I feel it is a good thing we aren't playing finals as we will avoid the embarrassment of being thumped by West Coast in week 1 of the finals (most likely) There are two games left in the ...

Re: For the betting men amongst us...
I have an 88% success rate. Started the year with $100 and now I have $88. hahahaha nice one, if you take a look at the site (for anyone seriously interested) last year if you bet $100 on each of the selections you would have finished the year with $1,118 (thats not a typo) You failed to mention ho...

65.76470588235294% profit but whos counting haha ROI is $1700 out ROI $2818 POT is $1700 out POT $1118 A small thing but in the world of the punt its the way it is. Its like saying i went to the races, bet $1700 and won $2818 when in reality you won $1118 which is the profit on your turn over. Anyw...

great to hear about you success on the races slider! You don't hear of too many people who have consistent success on the races. Re: For the betting men amongst us...
Whats your profit on turnover? thats all that matters.. I assume by profit on turnover you mean something like ROI (return on investment) which is calculated by Gross Profit/Total Risked * 100 If you were to bet $100 on each selection this year (going into this round) it would be 745/1,600 * 100 = ...

And to think they made preliminary finals in 08,09,10!! They have really gone down hill, and I can't seem them getting much better with the squad they have, zero forward line, no promising forwards coming through, they are in real strife. I feel sorry for their supporters, in a very similar situatio...
