Who is P66... could be a forum on its own the way you all bang on about him.
I'll go with 15-20 years my senior, played a bit of cricket over the years, stays involved with the local football & cricket clubs, works full-time, slightly overweight, and a fantastic angler.

Re: Hi Saintsational......again. Its been a long time!
Here here. I felt it was definitely the right decision to let Grant go in the end, as we just seemed to be going nowhere by then and I'd suggest the stuff between Grant and Rod was having a major effect, so something definitely had to give, but that doesn't take away from all the great stuff he did...

Maybe he didn't want to captain from the half forward line? We will never know his true reasons. No one not might ever know, except BJ himself, and only he will know that. :? I will go with a combination of: 1. more years 2. more money 3. more mid-field time 4. more young talent Rate these on a sca...

Good chance he would have been captaining the Saints next year had he stayed.Spinner wrote:He left for more midfield time and to become more of a leader.
One reason - less $ over 3 years VS more $ over 4 years.

This thread is providing much off-season entertainment.
Finding out some past history, good to see DWOODROW still around in the depths of cyberspace.
Great to see Tommo on here. Looking at the response he's gotten, he will fit back in well!

Re: How do you think Riewoldt will go in 2013?
Still reckon there's another chapter or two in the Nick Riewoldt story yet. He is far from done. Could still play out of the goalsquare effectively for a few more years yet and hope he does. I can only remember one game where he played effectively from a deep forward position, and that was the game...

Re: Tom Lee 2013 Impact
What Tom Lee does and does well he attacks the ball in the air like theres no one around. Similar trait to one Justin Koschitzke. People on here have given him a bit of grief about hurting team mates in packs etc. We just need to make sure we manage his body a bit better IMO. Can't wait to see some...

This. LA customs is the worst. One time going through LA I stood in a queue in the LA Customs hall and the queue moved 6 feet in about half an hour. The airline kept re-booking me a new conenction to Houston (the flight from Melbourne was late) and I missed 3 different connections because of the ti...

Don't know if it's been mentioned already, but on SEN they had a brief interview with Montagna in which he said he had heard nothing about Fisher and had no idea what the article was about. AFL site reporting on that interview by the sounds of things: http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/20...

I like what Post offers. I was apprehensive at first (another Richmond reject), but speaking to some Rich supporters and watching a couple of games of his I've come around. Apparently he hasn’t nominated for the Draft. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/localfooty/post-joins-reigning-premier/story-fn5...

Re: HS Phantom Draft - Tanner Smith at #25, Ben Jacobs at #2
Scott Watters said on 3AW the other night that we will probably use all our picks on 18 year olds. That would rule Jacobs out (probably) !! I will be disappointed if we dont pick up a mature aged key defender - it will mean another year of a struggling under sized defence getting smashed ! I like w...

Re: Salary Cap question
Impossible to answer. Just means they have a higher cap. It can be used how ever they want. You could say Tommy Walsh is getting a portion, or that Josh Kennedy is getting the $800k. Like saying that your mate earns an extra $2k a year. Did it buy him the TV he bought in March, the holiday in Decemb...

There is tention there,
I think BJ wanted to play a role and Scott had other ideas.
I think it is both a factor of where BJ thinks the respective lists are at and the money.
