Ratten and Butler conjured a win.
Got smashed in clearances but backline did very well again

Coffield went another step towards the next level.
Ratten has filled them with belief

Whe won it. What's your point.

FA midfielder 2020

In my opinion we need another clearance gun to pair with steele and Jones. Who's it going to be, who's our target? Outside FA on our list Jack Bytel was my guy to do this role but realistically we need someone proven. To keep the momentum. Any ideas? Gresham has lost his magic playing that roll. How...

Re: Reserves Scratch Match v Richmond

OK - report on Puntroadend (Tigers forum) say we got smashed by 90pts - 121 to 31 16 a side - not a great result Bytel got 2 brilliant touches and is knocking on the door. Has to come in this week if Jones doesn't play or possibly drop Hanners. Is this sarcasm about '2 touches' ? I'm more bullish a...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Round 4 2020

Can't believe some of the negativity in this thread. If you can't see the value in some of the recruits, you're not paying attention to the broader club change and form and are just looking for something to be critical about. Especially when the exact details of all our players contracts aren't kno...

Re: Radio call of todays game in Morwell

Right, I'm in my leather recliner after my pre-season hit out of 4 quarters on a hard steel bench. Great atmosphere at Morwell and the playing surface was exceptional. Whoever curates Marvel Stadium needs to come down for a chat with Latrobe City Council. It was widely publicized the Saints would h...

Re: Do you honestly think bringing in 5 traded players was the right move?

Are you debating if trades have value? yes they do as the trade period exists. Why would a club trade to lesser values.. well look at it top down and to broker a deal requires effort so the question is did we bring in the right mix of talents not quantity ( 5 )value. Is this now a more balanced team...

Re: Did St Kilda ever consider drafting Jack Riewoldt in 2006?

It’s all a lot easier in hindsight. Ball would have been just as good if not better than Judd and Hodge if his career wasn’t ruined by OP. But still, stuffing up the obvious ones is a bit frustrating, ie Paddy/Petracca. RIEWOLDT was a proven brand! sells more tickets. two of them even better! just ...

lethlean is a must stay!! he's the cornerstone of our administration. Anyone who listens to him talk can see he is articulate and analytical giving us the clarity and roadmap we need as a club. I would do everything in my power to secure him till we get a flag.

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury

think you will be surprised... this guy is a gun. Watch his highlights in Vic metro under 18. He's ability to set up play, he's got so much time under pressure, all the things you can't teach he's got. picked to go as low as #5 in that superdraft I rate him highly. Can't see why you would doubt him.
