He is an unrecognisable player to last year.

Not at all but do you always have to be so anal retentive? Your mummy and daddy must have done a real number on you. Don't take yourself so seriously, Septic. You sound like someone who sits on level 3 every week in your polyester with your mum filling in all the columns in your footy record. Does ...

Re: Membrey... The new Jake Stringer?

I see an in form Membrey as important to our forward structure. Good both in the air and with crumbs he adds balance to our options. We have been playing a lot of small ups forward and that goes ok when when you are controlling the midfield, but when kicks are more under pressure having so many sma...

Re: Membrey... The new Jake Stringer?

I always find it amazing how people purport to accurately predict a player's ceiling after a handful of games. He can be anything, what that will be is anyone's guess. Time will tell.

Re: Why Paddy_ Emma Quayle Book- exerpt

I have a strong feeling that the 'feet on the ground' comment re Petracca has been edited. If the recruiters said an overtly negative comment about any player, which they surely do, it would never go into a book. Presumably something more explicit was said and it was replaced with a cryptic, impossi...

Re: Weller or Rioli with Pick 14. Not matheison.

I have only one demand - he has to be a genuine midfielder.

Not a McKenzie, Acres, Billings, Lonie, Newnes, Murdoch etc etc etc who can develop into a midfielder. We need instant midfielders.

Less than 5 years.

Great outcome all round. Now for a reasonable trade.

Re: Ryan Clarke Pick 5

How is Matheison on the spread?

We obviously need to improve our clearance work but I think we have the personnel to make that improvement. We definitely do not have the personnel to improve our offence on the spread.

Re: Jake Carlisle

If we get carlisle then do we need gilbo? We'd have Carlisle Goddard fisher dempster roberton Webster Ray Delaney and maybe even lee as tallish backs - you might even throw acres and Mckenzie in there. I wonder if Gilbert's name is being floated as trade bait to facilate freeman and Carlisle trades...

Is there any substance to the reports that Collingwood mishandled his injury and we will do a better job at it? It's hard to believe given the resources the Pies have at their disposal.

Good on Lewis, I think he has a future. Although, Spencer was also doing extra pre season training this time last year and that didn't end well.

Re: Come on North!

Great that Dal becomes the first (ex) Saint of a great era to reach 300 games, and in a Preliminary Final to boot! Still love Dal for the player he is / has been, for the gracious manner in which he left the Saints and the fact that - despite his new opportunities at the Roos - has never bagged StK...

Re: VFL Prelim Final Sandringham Vs Box Hill REVIEWS

BH by 14 at half time. Minch - BOG and by a mile. 10 clearances, 18 possessions, 5 tackles. Pierce - Vey good. Some nice deft taps and good follow up work. Saad - Dangerous but has missed same chances. Has 2.1 but should have 3 or 4. Markworth - Quiet. McKenzie - Quiet but has done some nice things...

Re: VFL Semi FInal- Sandringham Vs Pies - Game Day

Watched only the last quarter. Murdoch has very strong hands. Simpkin is tough as nails (no news there). Minchington was good. Deserves another year. Saad was okay, but too many ahead of him to justify his spot. A team short on small forwards wouldn't be crazy to draft him. Holmes was poor. McKenzie...

Adelaide isn't cannon fodder. Their top players are absolutely elite and as good as any top shelf in any other team.

Probably still a long shot.
Some guy on BF who said he was Freeman's friend (or something like that) had mentioned the connection to St Kilda before the Herald Sun.

There's question marks with health so it's risky. He wouldn't come cheap. What do you mean by 'health'? Sorry that was ambiguous. Just referring to the hamstrings. He was drafted with the injury, had them more or less ever since. Had exploratory surgery earlier this year but still, you'd think his ...
