Re: Just F*** Off Umpire
It's f*cking ridiculous, rucks push and shove one another constantly. So it's ok when they are both doing it in unison but not just one ruck? Hickey still competed for the tap! Montagna's hand in the back of Harvey is another joke. The rule was meant to be for a dangerous shove, now a light hand on ...

Re: Just FK Off you FKN C**T Umpire
Umpiring has been terrible all year imo. Felt like the whistle just didn't stop today. And inconsistent too. When the scores are locked, you don't give such a light free kick within scoring distance. It has to be blatant surely!!! The w*nker winding down the clock then kicking the goal at the end su...

Re: Predictions vs Roo's
Will need to be all legs & accuracy today to be within shot, with Billings and Minch and Sinclair to do the damage up forward. Thomas is a pretty big out. Let's hope Goldstein is out too - then we might have a chance. As posted above Roo dropping back could be the call of the day. Expect to see ...

A good old fashioned brass band powerfully blasting out the Saints song! Now that would be money well spent.

Re: WTF is unrealistic attempt.
If you're in his back, you're in his back, so call it 'in the back'.
But don't call it unrealistic attempt when it's a totally realistic attempt at taking a high grab.
Thought some of the umpiring was pretty inconsistent yesterday, especially on holding the ball.

Re: Tom Lee
Easy to be enthusiastic about Lee as a potential tall marking defender who can kick. Our track record at producing tall backs is piddly. Stanley went back and was craphouse. Dawson came and went, and was disliked by many. Simpkin never truly got a decent run at it. Gilbert can't really play tall, an...

Re: Petracca
It's going to be difficult to compare Petracca and Paddy if both turn out to be the players they can be.
But what if you compare; Patton, Boyd, and Paddy?
Who would you take right now? They are all number one draft picks. At this point in time I would go Paddy no doubt about it.

Re: Saints v Giants match thread
we've been horrible to watch this year aside from the Collingwood game.
painful last quarter against a rubbish Port.
useless against the Dogs.
win against a rabble Magpie outfit.
excruciating loss to the Hawks.
and now this, another diabolical last quarter. is our fitness that bad?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Hawks @ Tassie
We need Paddy (2) and Templeton (3) to lift and Hickey to actually take some marks around the ground (I thought that's why he was in front of the other ruckmen), Minch needs to get it more and so does Weller. Keep going Saints! Take it right up to 'em!! Hickey is the only Saints player not to take ...

Re: Team v Hawks
good to see Nick, Paddy, and Bruce all get another go at it together. fingers crossed we'll get a full game out of this forward line. I hope we don't see all three in the same forward line. It will stunt the development of Bruce and Paddy. Maybe not all of the time but Roo will go forward and will ...

Re: Changes vs Hawks
Lee should get a run for Roberton, play comparable role and Lee deserves it as looked good on Saturday albeit only saw first half, but his kicking, which I've read a lot about lately, was pure sex. How did he look with the ball on the deck MS? That's been one of my concerns Mr Lee - he looked clunk...

Re: Are we playing too many oldies?
Agree wholeheartedly with your post Bluthy found myself getting pretty frustrated watching Dempster and Fisher labor as per usual last night. Wright was a high-ish draft pick, we have to give him a run at it now. Frankly I would rather, with intention to give players a go, afford another lot of oppo...

Richo has to take some responsibility for what was a completely useless game plan, whatever it was.
