Except that Lovett is claiming that he is contracted and listed. It seems he's looking for three years salary on top of being allowed to 'ply his trade' elsewhere. At some of the small suburban grounds I have known, he would have been playing on from inside the clubhouse! There should be some ruling controlling the play-on situation outside the field of play. In other sports I have umpired/refereed, once the ball goes outside the field of play the game ceases ...

Some of the Geelong acting in that game was worthy of a nomination too.

When are people going to realise that at functions like this the club treats its supporters like s***.
