Has Bonner had a single highlight since being brought into the side this year? The lowlights are endless, yet he's played every game has he?

Jack Hayes leading into space, marking and goaling a few weeks ago was just outrageous. He has no place in our game plan, needed to be dropped for sure.

We deserve everything we get after this. Insipid performance this last quarter, actually most of the game. Midfield looks like their treading water with weights on. Handballs to players standing still about to get flattened. Dropped marks, fumbles, overrunning it. We are so far off it's ridiculous.

Midfield is soooo slow to react and if by chance it bounces in our direction we will ALWAYS fumble.

All our tackles are too weak. 95% of the time the player just gets hands away, or breaks the tackle.

I didn't like that he announced we aren't challenging ( or something along those lines). Always goes on about how the players shouldn't listen to the narrative, then basically admits defeat. Fix the midfield. A good midfield can make an average forward line look fantastic.

I don't know what people issue is with Byrnes. He's one of the only players I see having some kind of impact in tight. I'm not sure, maybe I have to watch our poor moments more closely but it feels like pretty much everyone was turning it over in the first half, so why single him out?

It is a common fallacy to believe that if you are in the positive it's because the umpires are looking after you and if you're in the negative then they are cheats. It COULD be that the team is just playing sloppy vs playing smart.
