Poor old Dylan - lucky he's already got three lovely kids, or that could have been even scarier! Hope everything's back in working order soon... http://saints.com.au/news/2017-12-05/freak-accident-halts-roberton "Dylan Roberton was lucky to escape with every part of his anatomy intact after a f...

Re: Welcome to St.Kilda #46 - Ben Paton
People are allowed to have opinions, and you don’t have to completely agree what the club does as that would be nonsensical and irrational. However, for opinions to be taken seriously, they should be sensible and supported by good information and knowledge. You can have an opinion without the theat...

Yeah very good point...magnifisaint wrote:Really good discussion. I reckon Stuart Trott and Glenn Elliott. Don't you reckon it's the coaches job to welcome new recruits, not some ex player working at some other club. Don't think Lenny or GWS would be jumping at the chance. Nothing better to talk about?

I can't wait for paddy to knock 'em dead on the field! Enjoyed the glimpses we've seen, hope he can become a real force as soon as possible.... Second PS - hope that time at the end of season has helped give him a solid foundation to launch at 2018 Despite having the paddy blinkers on, I'm always a ...

Didn't he kick four in a cut throat final last week? Such a dud with his 7 all Australians, 4 colemans, 2 premierships & 10 x club goal kicking winner. Sydney were rubbish last night and buddy was wearing a king size mattress on his thigh. Good thread. Four in a single quarter, shortly after be...

Thought Nick last night was very very good. He was a revelation, wasn't he? Intelligent, useful remarks. Shame the same can't be said for pretty much anyone else on that channel. Indeed SF. He was very impressive. He was consistently insightful but maybe I was just being biased. No you aren't biase...

for me weller out! of the forward line Savage in for a few weeks want to see what he can do up there in wellers role. Then stick White or Rice in that Savage/joey role. Are then any vacancies on the match committee? If not there bloody should be because we're smokin' here! Think you'll find match c...

Re: Op Keep Mav Weller
Sometimes champions can play injured. Neither Weller or Steven are anywhere near champions! Agree on Mav, but I Think Jack Steven and his multiple Trevor Barker medals might get him somewhere closer to "champion" status. Plus I'd say Jack's one of the few players at the saints that could ...

Re: Footy show tonight: RB made decisions whilst drunk
There is a hidden agenda here about discrediting St Kilda. Trying to make them look like damaged goods so that any "prospective draftees" might rethink and stay away. McGuire and Barrett have a lot to answer, for mud racking and airing dirty laundry. It says a lot about both of their char...

Re: At what point do you cease supporting, and start resenti
They are probably the worst St Kilda team, pound for pound, that I've seen in my life.. I think that's a pretty big call given that we gathered a wooden spoon a couple of years back. Also think that you're having a massive sook - but so am I today. Let's hope the second half is an improvement - it ...

Loved the post - think a lot of us forgot about the harder draw etc etc, once we got into finals contention. Still hard to swallow all this inconsistency.
Especially the inconsistent kicking for goal - must sort that out for 2018.

It would be incredibly hard being the first. The biggest obstacle would be the Gay community and the media using them as the pin up boy. The player would never be remembered for their playing ability only as a gay icon. The players wouldn't give a stuff. Majority of supporters wouldn't give a stuff...
