Re: Changes for Freo
We started the 3rd quarter with Paton replacing Hayes. The commentators said that was a good attacking mindset from coach. Where's the attacking mindset from the opening bounce? Been banging on about this for weeks....Would love to see Windy and Owens start in the middle alongside Steele. Hopefully...

We won the clearances Won possession count Won i50s Lost the game - poor system Poor system? Were you watching the game? You fumble and slip as much as we did and any system will fail. Funny guy huh? 1.6 from 16 entries q3 ….poor system …😂😂 Laughing emojis apparently add weight to Mr DuPont's defen...

Re: Windhager
His ferocity, his fitness and his courage is enormous. We need more players hunting the footy and winning clearance like Windy. Loves the heat and loves pressure. His ability to find the ball is elite. Just needs to work on his disposal and trying to get on the run sometimes instead of kicking the f...

Re: RTB's Presser
So you're disputing what the coach is doing. You think it's wrong? He clearly gave Sincs the midfielder role. He was in the middle from the opening siren and I watched him go to every stoppage in the first 3-4 minutes. Sincs isn't there to burrow in and win on the inside. I'm sure he puts his head o...

Re: RTB's Presser
Didn’t he have 2 All Australian players and an AA squad ruckman in the midfield yesterday?! 😂 is that best u got?? He had an AA HBF he’s desperately had to put in the middle cause he has no one ..so midfield all fixed ? Brain dead No hope I will desist from responding further as it denigrates the f...

Re: RTB's Presser
He had enough talent to be on an AFL list, but the red flags meant he should have gone at 4 or 5 or pick 10. Even the great Chris Judd wasn't taken at pick 1 due to a pre-existing health concern. Now that I think of it...it was all set up wasn't? Recruiters from Melbourne and Collingwood knew they d...

Re: RTB's Presser
McCartin got concussion prior to getting drafted and he had problems with recovery which he and his own doctor claimed was due to his type 1 diabetes. So here's a guy with pre existing health concerns... which firstly prevented him from training at the required level and... secondly restricted him w...

Re: David King and Whateley analysis of what's gone wrong this year
We obviously have some personnel issues with injuries, but the main issue right now is the playing style. We have to start playing an enjoyable brand so that the players do what comes natural to them. Win the footy. Get first use and share the footy with someone who is on the move. And practice atta...

Re: Philipou’s Manager
Our results warrant criticism This sort of spotlight on players and game plan and coaching is actually a good thing The coaches need to be accountable. It's as simple as that. Take responsibility and get the morale back. And...I'm not talking about going for walks on the beach or Ross telling jokes ...

Re: Coaches votes Round 9 vs Hawks
He's fully fit so he should be back to what he was doing...if ...as you say 'he's playing much the same role' In 2021 his centre clearances were 2.7 per game and he was equal in total clearance averages to most of the best mids. Easily top 20 in total clearances in 2020 and 2021 in the league. Centr...

Re: More coaches votes
Sharman did a good job last year on one of those prolific hb flankers if I recall correctly He was specifically asked to play as a defensive forward. The most obvious change to the team going forward is to put Mich in the guts and play Cooper forward. Or... maybe if our focus shifted a little toward...

Scallop my only issue with your analysis here is the fact jack has only played a containing role once this season (GWS) he’s generally ran free or been tagged in all other matches. Have you got access to inside info on his role in each game? Nice. I'll be sure to follow all your posts more closely ...

Couple of minutes before the 3/4 time siren in the Collingwood vs WCE game, Bytel was dishing out a handball while a West Coast player behind him was trying to tackle him. Darling was facing Bytel as he approached and just 'accidentally' whacked Jack Bytel front on. Darling made careless contact wit...

I’m still getting back from Tassie, but from what I hear is that Bytel not great compared to other kids out there Bulldust Played his role and was going well for the time he was on ground. Got bumped a split moment after he handballed the footy. Jack Darling was careless with an elbow/forearm to Ja...

Re: Coaches votes Round 9 vs Hawks
In 2021. Cripps and Steele had the exact same centre clearances average per game of 2.7
If you compare Cripps in 2022 (the year he won the Brownlow) with Steele's 2021 year, Cripps just beats him with 3.0 vs 2.7

CLEARLY some Saintsational posters want to defend coach and club no matter how bad things look on field. Tom Morris isn't the story here. Don't attack the messenger. It's embarrassing for the person who made the comment. Same with the Draper podcast. You can't erase what has already been said. I'm o...

I think Collard would develop better by playing in the AFL. The standard the Sandy games.....well...you'd get the same benefit to your development playing local footy I think you're right I also think we messed with his head by naming him in Round 1 and then not giving him a proper opportunity in t...
