Yes, maybe he gets first crack at it. Sort of ease him back to senior football with a soft kill 🤣
Jimmy Webster.

That's it! Having a personal dig at me is what you're good at It comes down to one thing and 1 thing Only when I criticise a player or rate a player the club has brought in (instead of developing and giving opportunity to the talent already on your list) Has the midfield performed better since Crou...

Re: Votes v crows

Voting is subjective and I don't have a huge issue with who people vote for. I just like to express my thoughts and hopefully get people thinking a bit deeper about who we reward. There is no doubt that Crouch gives great effort 4 weeks ago when Crouch was getting 30 touches most on here were ridic...

Clark Steele Higgins Sinclair Wood Up until Jack Steele came off the ground it was clearly between him and Hunter Clark for best Saints player. Clark was one of the few Saints who kicked well yesterday. Clark and Steele went at 76% disposal efficiency. Hunter kept contributing in that last quarter ...

Re: What’s with the midfield?

Don't worry about Crouch. He will want to stick it right up Nicks for releasing that you can go (which he did) video. Good point. I'm sure he does but... Would have been better to rest him last week and let him come in fresh for this game. It's not like he was in ripping hot form for the last 3 wee...

Are Melbourne appealing? I hope they do, as any suspension is wrong in my view. Hopefully sanity will prevail, as it did in the Clark incident.

Ben does lack peripheral vision at times. Maybe Crouch didn't call, assuming Ben would see him. Are you going to accuse every player who has a collision accident from any team that they lack peripheral vision? Anyway...where is your evidence that he lacks peripheral vision? You are making stuff up....

Re: Winning the worst game of footbal in 20 years.

The reason I say Crouch wasn't doing the team thing and that he had no right to be going for the ball is that Ben waved and called for it, and Ben was running in the direction of our goals where as Brad was running towards the North goals. Ben is a very good overhead mark of the footy, so if Brad's...

Re: Cooper in. Cordy out.

Defensive tall options!? Coops got to more contests, brought the ball to ground more (the highlights show he did it at least twice which is a Cordy PB), more tackles, more marks. I’ve never seen such a spirited defence of a player go hand in hand with the observation that there are also 2 other pla...

So I haven’t seen the game but what did people think..? Sharman - 17d, 11 kicks, 6 handballs, 8 marks, 2 tackles, 1 goal and 2 behinds. For what I can see in the highlights reel… he contributed to the first goal by actually getting to the contests and bringing it to ground whilst also taking a big ...

Probably a sound argument.

4 wins with him, 1 loss - vs Collingwood.

Re: Issues going forward

As I’ve said before. We recruited Crouch and Higgins at the end of 2020. Both were surplus to our needs Surplus to our needs? Higgins currently our best forward and Crouch our 2nd best mid this season? That's a ripper even for a Scolops. That’s probably why we’ll stay middle of the road if Snags is...

Re: Issues going forward

The long bombs into the forward line were happening from the get go. Wood did it. Ross did it. Crouch did it and even Sincs did it I find it amazing that people think it’s just the defenders fault which cost us the game. They made a few errors, but they weren’t the only reason we lost. I think our ...

If he’s done a reasonable job - why does he lose it?

To a 5 gamer??
Again, because Caminiti has been very good and is imo a better option than Cordy. Only 5 games, but is better than a stop gap, and may even hold his place when King comes back.

If Cordy’s role is so important- and he’s been so effective at it Why would he be replaced by King and/or Caminiti??? Sounds contradictory! Are they going to be playing his role of not getting a kick?? Or are they going to replace him because they might actually contribute??? Come on BM, you know t...

Re: Cordy is important to us structurally....

The game would have had a different result if Cordy was on in Q4 for our long bomb entries. Yeah of course, because all the long bombs in the first 3 quarters were being marked by Cordy, so why wouldn’t he have continued doing that. Well thought out No No. That's not his role - doesn't have to mark...
