Re: RTB's Presser today
He’s lost the players. It shows. Sincs was interviewed by Saints TV on youtube. He looked stunned, just trotted out the same empty phrases that we've heard before. Steele said the same thing after Doggies game. Sincs repeated himself twice as if to reinforce in his own mind, as he has lost the plot...

Re: Harley Reagles vs Saints
Harley Reagles is currently getting a hard pumping by 80+ pts yet they will likely go in as favourites against us We will be sitting 3rd last next Saturday night 41 of the so-called 43 expert tipsters in yesterday’s West Australian tipped the Eagles to prevail over the Saints, in spite them being h...

Fingers crossed🤞 or we’re doomed.
Torrential rain is forecast for Perth late Saturday afternoon. Hopefully it arrives around midday to even up the skill and speed deficiency we have through the middle and down the spine. If there’s fine weather and the noise of affirmation is added….things will be looking gloomy.

Re: For the "In Ross we Trust" brigade
I don't think anyone is thrilled with where we're at this season. That said the overreaction is extreme. Reality is we're a middle or the road, young side in a competition where if you're off your game by 10% any side can beat any other. Some early season bad luck has led to a lack of confidence. W...

Re: Harley Reagles vs Saints
Waterman, the new version of the G-Train (W-Train) is going to tear us a new one. We need to get into his ear. But who is the toughest player in the backline capable of putting the wind up him? Hard-nut Howard? Hopefully the rain, as forecast, will precipitate down which will help our plodding midf...

Re: Last weeks debacle against Hawthorn
Port got up by 1 point That they did - 0:03 seconds to go - but seriously - after last weeks game I fully expected Hawthorn to lose by 10 goals - it was only their lack of experience (we also suffer from this) that saw them try and close down a 28 point lead for a whole quarter. What I found intere...

Re: The Blame game
I’m watching the Eagles and Melbourne game. I can’t see us getting within cooee of both these sides. Superb endeavour, speed, hardness and commitment from both sides. It’s much better than the agony of watching the Saints playing predictable, plodding, boring, dumb football.

Re: Zebras v Tigers
Just shows how out of touch our match committee is Could have left Pou in for another week, let him pick 20+ in the midfield and watch his confidence soar. Instead, we crush his confidence by playing him when he is down on confidence and not ready . We didn’t crush Phillipou’s confidence. Lyon did ...

Re: Sack Lyon
Jack Steele might be carrying a niggle. Didn't he have a crook knee a few weeks ago? I really don't know what's going on because I'm not on the inside, but he looks dispirited at times. Craig McCrae played Jordan De Goey exclusively in the forward line as he's coming back from a sore groin. Why doe...

Foghorn Leghorn?
The players, like Egghead Junior, have worked Lyons out. He’s the uninspiring, bumptious reincarnation of Foghorn Leghorn. He just keeps on flapping off at the mouth.

What a meandering load of codswallop. No wonder the players are confused. He just dribbles on meaninglessly.

Re: Match Thread: Saints vs Hawks
Absolute rubbish dished up today. Ploddingly slow, telegraphed passes, slow as a wet week defensive running, insipid tackling. The players aren’t playing with any intensity, or for each other. No shepherding. It looks like a team of individual big-heads.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 7 2024
field umps are even worse. bloody amateurs. joke to call it a professional league when the most important people on the field aren't. When you play like s***, there are no excuses. We didn’t deserve to win. We weren’t robbed, but contributed to our own demise through stupidity, lack of team play an...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 7 2024
Disgraceful, insipid, error-filled effort from a poorly coached team devoid of leadership. Saints were a rabble of lazy, ponderous, individuals. They allowed a depleted Port side to over-run them. Big clean out is needed at the end of the year…starting with Howard.
