Re: Dual narrative

Is the new ‘year of exploration’ So we are trying to win games and get games into kids at the same time - to build a premiership list Injuries could be a blessing in disguise Maybe this year, dropping down and getting a pick 5-8 won’t be the worst thing? Combined with a pick 23-28. And maybe tradin...

Hopefully we can reset after the bye in round 19 or whenever that is. Thank you, AFL.
+ 1.

Several of the teams we are playing in the next 6 weeks lost heavily today. All beatable.

If we're so bad, how come we only just lost to Geelong at Geelong with half our side out?

The next three weeks we must win, but I am philosophical about the season so far.

I see things a little differently

from a lot of the stuff I have seen on SS and bigfooty and talkback. We never seem to beat Port which sh1ts me, but we have to be realistic. For all the talk in the media about Port's injuries, at least they had them for the majority of the game when they built up a buffer between them and us. We ha...

No better place to start than this week.
They've been raging favourites in their home finals too, in the past, and they usually lose them.
No excuses. We just need to kick straight early and start well.

Preparing my self for the worst, anything better will be a bonus Ross will no doubt talk about how awesome Port are in his presser this week. My early tip for BOG Houston The thing is - if they're so good, how come they can't win a final? And out in straight sets again last year? They are every sus...

We won't get anywhere playing injured players - team balance is important but good form in the magoos must be rewarded and if Jones was the best in the magoos, come on down!

Gold Coast are ahead of the curve with regards to talent acquisition and stockpiling, and by a fair margin, so there’s that and that’s going to always be the main ingredient that wins you flags. Their list is also now arguably ahead of us in terms of games played in terms of having a critical mass ...

The first half was terrible by us, but some of the football Richmond played was great - especially some of Bolton and Martin's games.
The second half was very watchable and was punctuated by some brilliant goals and excellent defensive play by Wilkie and Battle and Wilson.

The Suns don't combine well as a team. Won't play finals this season, and even if by some miracle they make it, it will be shortlived and a flash in the pan.
We should make a play for Noah Anderson, I reckon.

Owens, Windhager, Caminiti, Phillipou, Wanganeen-Milera, Wilson, Sharman and Hastie should all stay in the side when able to do so. Collard could come in too, based on what he has been doing at Sandy.
They, along with King, Higgins, and Stocker are the future.
