Re: Dempster

Different people voting. Dempster says it himself "Probably over the last few years my way of contributing to the team was more of a defensive role, but since Scott's come to the team and from Day 1 he gave me confidence in the other areas of my game that I haven't really realised and used over...

Re: Dempster

Wasn't nearly as attacking last year.
Playing a different role this year.
New coach has made him a much better player.

Re: Dempster

Always found it amazing that in the 2009 Grand final he played as a defensive forward and had no impact on the game at all. His selection in that grand final side proved to be a big mistake as it was a role he wasn't capable of playing. Full credit to him and to Scott Watters to change his game arou...

What about Sikora? He is big and raw but does he have the ability to make it?

Re: The Leaving of Moorabbin- Article- IF

Good article but I feel he is a bit easy on Archie Fraser.
Fraser needed to take on the Greenies and win the battle.
Unfortunately the club and all supporters are going to pay the price for ever because of his failure to continue the fight against a small minority.

Re: Big Val

Lindsay Fox put more money in Carlton FC than he did St Kilda FC.
That is a fact.

I believe it was a "restructure" and her position was made redundant. Not sure Nettlefold handled it very well either. His people managment skills are really lacking.

I agree with the decision and not implying we lost to Collingwood because McEvoy didn't play. Just making an observation. I believe Pattison played in that game as the second ruck. I think people are just reading too much into it all. Lyon doesn't think there is a match up for McEvoy against Colling...

Have checked and McEvoy was dropped for that last game against collingwood. Can anybody remember what we did that day in the ruck? Whatever it was it can't have worked too well as we had our pants pulled down.

I might be wrong here but I'm pretty sure McEvoy was also dropped for our last meeting with Collingwood. He played well up in Brisbane the week before and then got dropped. Correct me if I'm wrong here but appears Lyon just doesn't think Collingwood presents the right match up for McEvoy.
