Why couldn't they give one of our interstate away games to melb ffs.
They have a miserly 3 compared to our seven.
Play same bottom teams twice so what is the reason I wonder.
Is Roos the golden boy or something?

Re: Saints games in 2015
I have been a member forever , but you look at this fixture and almost say "what's the point of becoming a member" Only 14 games in melb out of 22 rounds ? With 4 of those sun twilight games. I thought they were giving that timeslot the well deserved arse. The sooner we f@#k Wellington off...

Re: So the truth comes out why we didn't accept picks 4 and
At least midfielders esp pretrecca are ready to play straight away so would be a lot less risky than a big forward.
Would have preferred 4 and 7 if Mc cartin was avail at 4 but the saints must have got info that melb was taking him.

Re: Bumped
It kind of makes sense that teams on the bottom receive higher compensation than the higher teams. ie hawthorn with franklin - pick 19 Players who want to leave to play finals straight away leave their old club with a decent pick at least. Imagine the scenario if melb received bugger all for frawley...

Re: Armo linked to Tigers
Armo is only 25 so if hes retired by the time we re playing finals we re in big trouble. Unless someone offers us way overs he is exactly the player we need for the next few years. Not a lot of point to this trade.

They can't get a priority pick if they finished ABOVE us. That would be rediculous .

Re: Hindsight.... GTrain or Kerr?
Was just thinking the other day how enjoyable and fun it was to go and watch the saints in that era.
More so than the saints of 09-10 I reckon.
The team rising up the ladder for the first time since 97-98 prob made it more enjoyable as well.
We used to smash sides by 60-100 points regularly .

Re: Saints homeward bound!!
All these supporters that say "its not the training facilities that run out on the mcg" blah blah blah. You completely miss the point. That oval on fitzroy st Stkilda is going to be the most visible out of any training ground to people walking past of any melbourne team. Fitzroy st for any...

Adelaide will be flat as , as nobody expected tiges to win , however their picked side is still alot better than ours with the game sold out they should still win surely.

Re: Petracca
If cameron or boyd has indicated the eventually want out of gws and back to melb , then gws could trade one of them to us for petrecca who they would want ..................and still pick up mc cartin or wright with pick 3. That way they would still have 3 big forwards and petrecca. Long term it cou...

If he was put on the table he would demand a lot purely on potential. Its that potential that also keeps him at the Saints What is a lot? We are keeping him IMO for the exact opposite reasons. We havent been offered enough to trade him. Well i guess a lot more than he will ever be worth if he conti...

If we get petracca this year we can always chase Boyd or Cameron next year with our first pick ( maybe pick one , two or 3. ) and a player . Maybe even a 3 way involving Stanley now that White is a star.

Re: Come Home Luke Ball - all is forgiven ?
I would love to see him back. He is a great leader and very good person, can't have enough of those at your club. He was very humble in victory as well after the granny That's because he felt guilty that he screwed his so-called mates over . He left them a player down and went to their direct oppos...

Re: Number 1 pick
What if we did trade down our number 1 pick to say pick 10 and pick 18 for example? Would everyone on here be happy? I certainly would be. With those 2 picks according to AFL.com we could pick up these 2 players...... Paul Ahern (Pick 10) Half-Forward/Midfielder Calder Cannons Ahern could be select...

I love the quick hands and quick brain of seb Ross.......pity his legs are on the slow side......but hey 16 possessions ain't too bad..... Is Ross any good. Didn't see today's game . It's like a case of Chinese whispers. They've tried to improve the experience of being a supporter ( and by supporter I guess they mean the type of supporter they ideally want sitting in the outer ) bit by bit until it no longer resembles what it was that you loved going to the footy for in the firs...

Re: This is reality...
Id like to know how many N.Zrs actually become members of an AFL footy team when they come over here. I imagine the number would be quite insignificant. Considering the population of Melbourne , an afl mad city, is about 4mill -there is 450,000 members of Melb teams, which is 10% of the population. ...
