Re: Presidents letter
I’d like the Prez to put some more meat on the bone with regards to what does he exactly mean when he says “not the easy way” What’s he actually envisioning with regards to how hard the list build needs to be, I know Lyon has said recently that we are going to the national draft again this year and...

Re: Next week
A coach with vision for the future doesn't recruit rejects like Cordy and Bonner and give them important roles in the team. Their talent level is average and their upside is minimal. I’m pretty sure Bonner is playing because Webster isn’t. Cordy played last year as forward because we had no others ...

Re: Match thread Saints v Dogs
At game and my view is Can’t win a clearance regardless of where Marshall hits it Cooper keeps getting moved form one position to another. Pick one rtb and stick with it Way too many handballs not enough kicks Sinclair is Samson. Haircut ruined his form Skill below afl standard Bourbon way to expen...

Re: Could we get a selection surprise this week?
As I’ve said before, thank goodness fans don’t pick the side. Thursday’s game is close to being a must win for us and we have fans calling for the selection of unproven and (from what I’ve seen of them) unexciting first year players. Garcia looked like he might be something in the pre-season practi...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 5 2024
In the first month - apart from Marshall & Steele … I truly think the majority team is out of form. It’s very odd watching Wilkie and Sinclair out of touch and making poor decision. Skills are pox, often out of position. All over the shop.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 5 2024
King is as weak as fkn piss He needs a fkn rocket His body language is pathetic- never seen a key position player with such pathetic body language He looks too scared to even contest the ball or have a shot. Mentally weake as piss - and physically no effort After 75 games … I’m starting to wonder w...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 5 2024
Good grief. We’re flat footed, missing tackles and watching them whizz past us kicking to forwards playing in front. We’re back to bombing it forward as Plan A.
Looooooong arvo ahead.

Thankfully. Unlike nowadays - a 15yo in 1985 looked 15. All round no good sadly

Re: Can we?
I’m enjoying this season so far. I do have hope some here don’t see us being anything for at least 2 to 3 years but those same people say that every year.. some of those same people I’m glad I don’t associate with at the games or in life in general …. no I’m happy with the way we are going. I have ...

Re: Match Thread vs Richmond
Richmond's approach the this game was so much more serious than they Saints. They have been practicing all week in a space the same dimensions as this crap ground. Apparently Lyon scoffed at the idea. The Saints seem to have no idea how to handle the space. I thought the same thing when I heard Ros...

Love Jimmy to do the footy world a favour and ‘accidentally’ split the poor dwarf absolutely in half at the 1/4 time break. Although preferably from front on … unlike what the dwarf turd to Ian Aitken

Absolute rank recidivist gronk he is. Complete sh1t rat. And the compromised AFL won’t suspend him for his god only knows how many more times indiscretion. Because they know full well he’s going to sue their arses off over the Hawthorn racism matter. What an absolute web of disgraceful shite the AFL...

Re: Webster appalling
Simpkin is a clean inoffensive ball player isn't he? Looking to understand the action and find it hard to understand especially in a practice match. Watershed time for Jimmy, and not a good one. Wonder how the Club will go about defending him. The smart way would be to apologise, put your hand up a...

Re: Enright and Carroll sign til end of 2026
The best news to our football program in years. It’s zero surprise to anyone who knows Damien and/or what he’s done at Hawthorn and Collingwood that our recent draftees are coming into the team with considerably better skills than previously. He’s a weapon of a development resource

Re: Simon Lethlean finished at St. Kilda effective immediately?
History shows the hard line works. Only with a list that is in the premiership window and with a group of mature match hardened and conditioned bodies. Ross failed in his only attempt at a rebuild and one of the greatest criticisms he was receiving in his final year at Freo was he only had a one-si...
