Re: Tsadis / Phillipou / McKenzie

I would rather McKenzie as Phillipou sounds like a FIGJAM . Hopefully McKenzie slides to us I wouldn't be surprised if recruiting figjams is precisely what we want right now. It doesn't necessarily mean they turn out like dickheads. Battle was a bit figjam when we drafted him. If you talk the talk ...

Hearing similar on the grape vine West Coast not using either of their first 2 picks on Hewett hoping for him to slide to pick 20. That may change if Ginbey goes before their pick at 9 . Interesting times ahead

Re: Liam Stocker training with the Saints .

Worth a shot if he can get himself right as he is only 22. Would be nice to get another one back on our hated foe Carlton. We sent them a stinker recently lol That's not particularly fair if you are talking about Newnes - he gave them good GOP service (as he did for us). Far from being a "stin...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKB3Nnfm9ps&t=10s Thanks for posting mate. My thoughts, Ablett was a thug. Daniels wouldn't get a game these days with his shocking kicking, but boy, he could play. Forgot how good Gotch and Kenny were. Have a blank when it comes to Evans. Have no recollection of...

Slow to get going then a standout season & looked as though he had turned the corner then had a shocker season & then did his knee. I'm hopeful he can get back to the form of 2020 but you never know . I guess we will will find out pretty soon .

Classic game & Jack Daniels had a pretty good game but IMO he will go down as the worst kick that ever pulled on a Saints jumper but still had a decent career

Re: Lonie...

Milney was strong in the body in a marking contest one on one Amazing offensively, Horrible defensively, if he did tackle, generally he gave away a free kick Thing is, he often made something out of nothing and kicked goals! Lonie was a talented small forward, but didn’t capitalise enough He was ex...

Cam McKenzie

According to AFL site the present draft order has Cam around the pick 10 which is around our pick . I don't know a lot about him but I believe he is an academy player & would be fitting choice if the stars aligned . Very interested to hear what other Saintsationalist's think

Now we have Cordy & already have Highmore do we really need another tall intercept back man? I'm not totally against it but would prefer to get more potentially skilled mid's with those picks

Re: Players Ross will love

I think Billings, Clark and Seb are the players who have never pushed themselves hard to be elite and need a Ross rocket I would not include Seb in that group, IMO he has got the most out of his ability & 2 B&F's prove that. IMO the other 2 have talent probably more than Seb but they don't ...

He gave his all but unfortunately IMO only just didn't have that spark or confidence to get the most out of the group on a consistent basis . Even when we were winning early in the season we were so hot & cold , 2 good quarters 1 poor 1 average but still did enough to get over the line but when ...

I would not be writing off any of our tall, young talent This coming season will be vital to their development - as will be the subsequent seasons as they pass just 20 years of age Particularly the likes of the Number 9 Draft Pick, Heath, Adams and Peris debuting in 2023 will be a positive - includ...
