Re: Most one sided player in AFL
Gilbo had a great few years where he could run the lines and kick long; or take a mark, play on, hit a 5 cent coin with the Sherrin from 50 metres. Then, teams worked out how to corral him, as he couldn't swap to the right and got stifled; I recall him getting tackled heaps of times in the back line...

Re: Saint v Pies - Preview / Discussion
I'll prolly get shot down with stats here but I dont see Swan as a ball winner (Pendlebury is) but more of an outside runner and for that reason I'd like to see Dempster run with him when he goes forward. Pendlebury seems untaggable so let him go head to head with Hayes and Jones to tag Beams out o...

Matrix says Pies by 170. & we'll be inaccurate?
I reckon we will be far more accurate this time. But we'll get thrashed, but only by less than 8 goals.

Re: Saint v Pies - Preview / Discussion
Swan needs to be picked up by Dal. Need to stifle their supply into the F50.
They are faster and better than the Bumbers so we have to do what we did then, but up a notch.

Re: 23K -Dogs have no fans!
Anyone remember that game in the 90s where us and the Doggies were near top of the ladder, Aussie Jones shook the hand of a doggie after the game and said "see you in 8 weeks" i.e. "We'll see you guys in the grand final" What was the attendance on that day ? that was this one in...

Re: Saint v Pies - Preview / Discussion
Somebody said Nick dal to Swan, thats a great idea! Dal can hurt them with his poise and reduce Swans impact. Its not the high number Swan gets, but where he gets em. If Dal takes it away from the painted one, it reduces Swans impact. Just like against the bombers. We just need to be cleaner than to...

Curious about how Gram is going.
Give us a score out of 10, on the following:
- second efforts
- spoils
- chase
- tackles

the stream is somewhere in the forest. Listen closely and you will hear the water bubbling over the rocks.
Justin told me. He said I was a "manian" if I couldn't find it. Well, I found it, but I need a password !

Re: stream
the dorkers finishes at 2 pm, we will lose an hour of the game
On live chat, Appleguts told someone that the Eagles game was on that channel.
So it looks like he broadcasts more than one channel ?

Instead of letting Siposs play and get experience, he gets dropped, and they leave in underachievers like Gram.
unbelievable.

87%- impossible. I think you're being funny, it's 13% away from 100, is that some sort of cleverness on your part?

Re: The final eight
SaintPav says he doesn't want Freo in the finals. I heartily agree. Any final they play in Melb will have a very small crowd, regardless of who they play. And yes, be good to see Ross miss out on the finals. I don't believe we can sneak in, can't see us beating the Filth, they will study our games a...

Re: Round 18 Team
I agree IN FULL with To the Top. Milne- 5 Goals is a nice return, especially considering he seems to play below his normal in interstate games. But he got less than 10 possies. Normally he would only have kicked 1.3 or something. So his overall contribution was far less than ideal for a veteran like...

Re: Round 18 Team
good point about Kosi being a good option, Rooey appears to usually have 2-3 defenders chasing him, and he leads wide, so why can't our blokes give it to Kosi, who would obviously be free, and probably in the corridor ?

Re: Round 18 Team
I wonder whether Kosi will be the sub. Or will Wilkes be the sub, and he comes on when Kosi comes off to wear the maillot rouge (oops still in Tour de France mode) I like Kosi, and I really don't like people bagging our players. But why did they pick Gram again ? Has he blackmailed some of the match...
