if at the start of the year most of us were offered MG playing 50% of games we would of taken it and ran..... lets not jump the gun because he started better than expected!

never said bomb it long.. any player can do that.... but those players mentioned are capable of kicking long to a target! think about it before dismissing it.

He looks to be building towards some fo his finer stuff. Couple long accurate kicks this week and a couple goals as well. 15 touches but at least with 8 kicks 4 marks, 11 tackles 2 goals 10 of his posies contested, 5 not and a 20% increase in his efficiency to 80% and just on the side 4 clearances.....

think raph has taken many goal saving marks... and if you look at who was near him when he goes the punch it will seem more like a deliberate play.. for the record its whenever the opponent's power forward is near. raph also does use the ball well.. the only part of his disposal you can fault is som...

my concern was his kicking... his disposal efficiency was one of the lowest of the team <65%

however he got plenty of it got a stack of clearances and tackled well.

thought one out he did a better job on roo than most I have seen.
roo will always take marks, and if he ever kicks less than a goal he has been spanked...

I'd call it just about break even with waite with the slight advantage.
