I hate losing. Even back in the eighties or around the Blight era when we sucked so hard a watermelon could have made it through a garden hose.

I still go into games demanding a win. If this mob ever rolls over and shows the moist bit like Melbourne, then I will turn on them.

Good man.

Just one look at Lee and I know he doesn't take his gym work and diet seriously.
He needs to attack the gym and attack the protein supplements and stop eating s***.
He's got a ton of talent but hes coasting.
Why do you think he's coasting mate.

Not dominate - but not being on the verge of being dropped would be better.

Re: Are we - as a supporter group - starting to turn?

Love to win - whenever we can. It's not about throwing in the towel, just accepting that we will lose a few more than we will win this year. As long as the effort is there (unlike Melb), we can't be too critical of some losses, provided they are not blow-outs. Let's hope that we take the Geelong ap...

Re: Are we - as a supporter group - starting to turn?

Ah... We must accept being mediocre.... Cool, good to know... That's much better, because I was starting to get stressed about losing.... Now I know we can accept it ..... It's a whole lot better... And the knowledge that we'll win a flag in 5 years... Even better That's it Mart. Suck it up because...

Re: Are we - as a supporter group - starting to turn?

Supporters are simply beginning to accept reality - we are now "officially" in a Re-building phase. Focus now more on effort, not on outcomes. Hey mate. What's that though? Accept losing? What's the alternative? So the model of - the only way to rebuild is from the very bottom of the draf...

Re: Tommy Lee

Saints look soft overall. Other teams will love playing us this year and will go home bruise free. Tom Lee is part of this . We are a gentle footy side. Not sure why people are so happy to accept this. That is an extreme exaggeration mate. We are not soft as a general rule - there are a few blokes ...

Re: Flag tilt 5 years away?

WHY aren't Dunnell, Ross, Ledger demanding spots?? WHY did Siposs look B grade on Friday night? This is tongue-in-cheek, right? Siposs is 20 and has played 18 games - he's not going to be consistently A-grade at this point because no-one is. Ross is 19, Ledger 21 and Dunell 23, and between them the...

Are we - as a supporter group - starting to turn?

I'm sensing a lot of angst. But to be honest it's giving me a lot of  Especially some of the stuff getting penned on here recently.

I'm hurting as much as anyone, don't get me wrong there. But I was wondering. Is there a disco anywhere nearby?

He is going to have to go about the awkward job of retiring players, not giving games to senior guys who maybe don't expect it, tell guys to do something entirely different than what they've always done. Not going to go down well at times. I could guess about a couple of younger players struggling ...

For my brief 2 cents - it's Play The Kids time now pretty much at all costs. And some honourable retirements come season's end.

Indeed Con. They are both Club legends and should be treated as such, especially around here and hopefully (in JK's case) by Watter's.

34 straight games with a goal, three straight seasons with 50+, five straight seasons with 40+. Since the last time Milne put up a donut, Betts has been held goalless five times. Nick Reiwoldt has been blanked 4 times; Jack Reiwoldt 3 times; Lance Franklin twice. No small forward can touch him and ...
