Simon White should have stuck with Maths as well as English.

The Cats kicked 14 of the game’s last 17 goals to emerge victors 13.14 (92) to 7.10 (52).

It's not rocket surgery!

Then, by definition, if we have our full list available with no gaps, Blake has no place in that team. If we had a list with 22 star players who could never get injured or lose form, then yes, we would have no need for Blake. However until we find those 22 magical players, it is extremely unrealist...

His endeavour and courage are there for all to see but his decision making when he has the ball lets him down.

Case in poinmt: Giansira-loser on Kosi a few years back. How many weeks did he get for that? Seriously, a front on bump that was hard and a little bit physical, but the kid got strait up and there seemed little malicious intent. If this trend continues, our midfielders will have to change to Wing A...

Yeah exactly & what a load of bollocks when a 50/50 ruck contest can result in a 9 point result for the lucky team in question. We were on the receiving end when Rix received a soft free kick from a ruck contest, the Cats probably mouthed off & the ump paid a 50. Of course Rix missed the sh...

That is something that happens in pretty much every game of footy. It was a dumb thing to do (and there is a chance he'll be suspended for it), but there no was high contact, no elbows sticking out and all that came of it was Kruezer getting a bit winded. Shoudn't be suspended for that, but then ag...

Nothing should come out of any of them. The Cambpell Brown incident was just a late bump on a guy going for a mark (50m), Josh Kennedy could do nothing to stop his opponent from ducking his head and running into him (play on) and the Franklin wrestle was nothing. Deary me! Campbell didn't go the sp...

History?

Back in 2004 when we won the Wizard Cup we played Adelaide, Richmond, Essendon (in a Semi) and Geelong in the Final. We've already played two of these four and are due to meet the Bombers in a Semi Final again. If Adelaide get through the next two weeks could we see history repeat itself? Remember t...

Rix during the 2nd quarter...Handballs to a team mate and stands still while a Geelong player runs around him to put pressure on the ball carrier. This demonstrates that he is not a natural footballer. A footballer would instinctively give the handball off and shepherd the ball carrier. Blake...too ...

I'm sure that the TV stations want the best rating games in the times when the ratings can be maximised. Friday and Saturday nights are the picks. The St Kilda - Geelong match would clearly rate higher than the Hawthorn - Carlton or Bombers - Bulldogs match. The trouble is that both St Kilda and Gee...

Very silly by the AFL here.

The specific venue scheduling should not be preset.

St Kilda - Geelong at the Dome on a Friday night = 40,000.

St Kilda - Geelong at Canberra on a Sat Arvo = 10,000 (tops!)

What was "pretty stupid" is that fact that it wasn't picked up on the ground. There are four umpires and they have the ability to call for the video. Hayden Kennedy didn't have the composure when a scuffle took place to call for the video. He must have known that the kick was close to the...

Melbourne's NAB Cup Jumper

How did the AFL let them get away with wearing this against Geelong?

Melbourne are wearing a predominantly white (silver) jumper with navy blue numbers. It is VERY difficult to tell the teams apart on the TV.

One wonders what the Football Director at the AFL does with his day!

It just doesn't make sense. More teams will make the draw even more lopsided. And a Premiership just gets harder and harder. Would only make sense if they relocated North and Bulldogs. Draw could be solved by doing the following: - Scrap the NAB cup - Extend the season to 25 rounds - Split the 18 t...

If he plays much this year I would expect it mainly to be as a tall midfield tagger, although if we've got a healthy squad I can't see room for both Dempster and Blake (and Blake will no doubt be selected first). After what I saw last night at the intra-club...Dempster >>> Blake! Very similar style...
