I did say that "I am not sure if this is increasing issue, or if it's being more widely acknoweldged as an issue because of the victims speaking out."
But good on you for researching!

Re: St.Kilda 🆚 Bottom Teams
Our two worst wins last season were WCE and North...Both by 8 points and both teams were barely VFL level when we played them.

Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
The government has caused financial distress through its inept policies which is putting a lot of pressure on households and causing all sorts of problems for families like domestic violence. But the government wants us to point the finger at other men. I am not sure if this is increasing issue, or...

Re: Mattaes Phillipou
The Pou and Sheezel were drafted 7 picks apart. Sheezel has averaged almost 30 disposals per game since. The draft isn't linear. I am sure that if we were in North's shoes that we could play the kid on the half back flank where he would be unaccountable and not tagged because he's in a VFL standard...

Given Tassie already have a team promised now, nobody will be relocating.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Sat 04 May 2024 8:50am Keep reminding Norf that either our club or theirs is bound for Tassy, and we both need to impress the Tassie folk watching
More likely to fold or merge to keep the clubs at 18 unless the AFL can find a 20th team PDQ.

Things we must do v North
Other than win the game, what must we do this week?
1. Win all four quarters. We can't be sleeping at all. The longer the game goes, the more we should be in front.
2. Win the contested possessions and tackle count.
3. Win the clearances.
What else?

Re: Higgins Alir incident
The AFL have been pressured by medical bodies, legal bodies and the public generally about addressing concussion, and rightly so. It's more than likely that if a player is concussed due to a tackle of any sort from an opposition player, and fails concussion protocols, then it would be hard to talk ...

Re: Higgins Alir incident
Any process where the same action can receive two vastly different penalties because the outcome is different- is obviously flawed! That and trial by media And yes - having Christian alone deciding all penalties is also ridiculous It should be an expert panel It used to be. Before the MRO, it was t...

Re: AFL’s play thing
We are irrelevant, not because of the AFL, we are irrelevant because we are mediocre and other than a few spikes in performance here and there, have been mediocre or worse in our entire history. This is more accurate than we care to acknowledge. We've played (prior to this season) 125 seasons of VF...

Re: Selection over the next couple weeks
King, Hayes, Schoenmaker, and Webster are automatic inclusions. If Marshall is fit, he plays forward with Campbell coming in. Marshall should not attend a centre bounce as a ruckman, but can ruck in the forward half. Hayes to go to the ruck to give Campbell the rest. King, Hayes, and Marshall make u...

Re: Higgins Alir incident
How can the impact be severe if the bloke gets up and takes his kick? Surely, severe is when you're KO'd instantly? I would ask what else are players to do in some scenarios? Higgins never once changed his grip on the bloke, never once changed the action, wasn't violent in the tackle. He'd be giving...

Re: Drafting 25
Every club would have put Boyd, Kelly, and Billings in the top 3. ' Every club' feeds the media whatever the media expect to hear. They're not going to disclose their actual picks Only gullible supporters would swallow the excuses used by incompetent recruiters. Only St Kilda would flip flop from t...

Re: Coming back
Hayes could be our 25th ‘best’ player But structure wise he’s critical He’s a better forward than Caminiti and a far better ruckman than Owens or Caminiti Caminiti has been woeful this season and was only given a pass for last year because of where he came from and we had no King or Membrey But the...
