Re: Josh Bruce has gone mad.
Farren Ray was one of the players in The Victory Room after the game & he seemed pretty pleased about Josh Bruce sticking up for Roo. He'd just come straight from the after match review with AR so I can't imagine the coach was too displeased.

Re: Live broadcast
I'm enjoying this, plenty of positives I'm with you SainterK, I'm looking at the positives for the long term rather than dwell on the negatives. Too many years spent doing that in the past, we need something to get excited about & some of these young kids are showing glimpses of having some rea...

It was Port, because all the talk was about them needing to win to play finals in their first season in the AFL. Watched it at the Social Club.

Lenny, you are the son any mother would be proud of & the player any club would want. Thank you for everything you have done for this club during your career as a player & hopefully in the future in a coaching role. You have been a joy to watch. Fortius Quo Fidelius.

My Hawthorn supporting mother is turning 75 in a few weeks so I thought it would be nice to take her & my 2 brothers (1 Saint, 1 Hawk). Unfortunately only the Hawthorn supporting brother could make it, so it was a very gloomy day for me. Do we play Hawthorn again this season? I'd like to m...

Hence the laughing emoticon at the end. I believe his Wiki page said he played U 19's until he broke his leg. I also have no recollection of him playing for us....but I do remember his Calvin Klein ads.

One positive is that the drunken supporter from last week was not sighted yesterday. On a more serious note, the skills that have been on display with the young kids is a sight to behold. Once they become more settled with the pace & tempo of the game their disposal will improve. A lot...

Some little minor facts. SW isnt a well loved coach by the majority of players. RL was at least liked by the stars but not so much the guys not getting a games as every single coach including SW is. Finey knows less than some here on this board so I wouldnt get carried away with what he says and th...

Re: Bright moon at the Gabba?
June 23 was, in fact, the closest the moon will come to the Earth this year, and it also just happened to be full. The result was an unusually bright and large full moon at perigee (about 14% larger and 30% brighter than a full moon at apogee) that some say causes extreme tides, increased risk of e...

I live very close to the ground & there is a slight breeze. It may be a bit stronger across the ground due to the open areas around the oval, but I would be surprised if it's blowing a gale.

Re: Dees vs Saints Casey Fields NAB Cup 9 March
Finally I will be able to get home from a game within 5 mins of the final siren! Honestly, do people whinge just for the sake of it? How inconsiderate of the AFL to not play every game at Etihad where clearly all St Kilda supporters reside within a 5 minute commute.
