He posted a very long thank you note on social media yesterday & went on to say how much he was looking forward to his return.

Pretty sure the "big fish" they were chasing failed a medical with us & North? this week.Griggsy wrote:as long as the club doesn't try to make this out as that "big fish" we were chasing I'm happy to have him.

Fox have done a top 100 moments and only 2 Saints spots - 92 _ Roo's 300th and 32 - Gresh's goal with a couple of others for teams playing against the saints But we saw just about every one of Eddie's goals and most of Buddy's You must have overheard me having this very same conversation yesterday....

Hickey and Ross should have been in the top 5. I call BS on that. Actually, I thought they were both more consistent than Jackie boy. You called! What can I do for you? Sorry, it wasn't BS, it was NY. Neil Young, not New York! Speaking of Neil Young, why can't they play good music at these events? ...

Re: In February, would you have been happy with 12 wins
I'm already missing the footy & cannot wait for preseason to start. I feel like this year was similar to 2003 & that next season we'll surprise quite a few teams. Seeing the improvement in players like Acres & more recently Dan McKenzie just goes to show how little we as supporters reall...

Car park isn't closed, just reduced parking area.
Cranbourne & Pakenham lines also affected by track work so buses will be running for part of the journey.

Re: POLL: Do you support the PRIDE game concept?
I'd rather just go to the footy to watch footy.... Nothing against gay/lesbians at all, just don't think footy footy should become a political platform... It is what it is... I even hate the fact that kids associate ANZAC spirit with a game of footy... So by this logic, Nicky Winmar should have onl...

I saw our future & North's past. We have so many exciting players that each week brings something new to smile about. I like the fact that Richo remains so composed all the time. He must know we are building toward something special & that this season is all about the process. I think the si...

Re: Biased Umpires AFL want North win for BoomBooms special
Don't forget the Ben Brown free kick in the first when he did a better pirouette than any Bolshoi Ballet member. Talk about staging for a free & the umpires get sucked in by it. Should have laughed & called play on.

Re: On the couch
Yes, Hickey Ross and Steven have now established themselves in our stoppage set up for sure. I wouldn't mind seeing Weller in there too, because he is a contest beast and can also take off on the outside, unlike Dunstan, Armitage etc. Great call, I've been thinking this for a while and have noted n...

Re: Does anyone else find Richo boring???
You should have a chat with him one on one. Very quick witted. The players all seem to approve of him & with that many different personalities in the playing group surely they can't all be wrong? He does what he needs to do in the post match interviews.

For what it's worth I have noticed in the last couple of games that he hasn't had the patch to begin with & in the game against Essendon he ended up with 2. He only had 1 last weekend but apparently he spent about 12 minutes off the ground so I imagine it is all related to his diabetes. Maybe th...

They held Brown, Waite & Petrie to 5 goals & meantime Riewoldt, Bruce & Membrey kicked 9 with Roo not actually playing in the forward line for the 1st half.

I remember several years ago True Believer, that the club were conscious of the amount of free kicks being paid against us primarily for "in the back" decisions so worked extremely hard to change the way we tackled players so that we fell to the side of the player when dragging the player ...

This line said it all for mine.
On top of this, the Demons have a potential once-in-a-generation player in Hogan, while the Saints will soon lose their equivalent in Riewoldt.
Bit soon to be comparing Hogan to Roo.

The Hawthorn cheersquad had someone playing the bongos in Tasmania, not sure if they do the same here. We need someone who can play the trumpet & blast our song out at every opportunity.

As a mother I can think of no better way to spend Mother's Day than at the footy with my kids. Re Acres to prevent the go home factor we just need to find him a nice lady who has very strong family ties in Melbourne (I'm assuming he's straight, if not a bloke!). He loves Melbourne, is signed up to the end of 2018 & already has a girlfriend. Aside from that, I don't think the club would c...

You know it was a good win when reading about it 4 days later can still put a smile on your face.
Great report & hope to see more of the same, but I too, would like to know who Roger & West are.
