What a fantastic idea a perfect target for a bone crunching hip and shoulder, Should work in favour of opposition teams reminding them of the handbaggers boasting. I can see opposition coaches saying look at those arragont p----s when you see the badge hit it as hard as you can.. At least if i were ...

I had the BEST ever Saints memorabilia, but only for a very short time. It was the crutch that Plugger threw at Eddie Maguire from the back of the ambulance at Morrabin... Sadly Plugger missed Eddie and I passed the crutch back to Plugger in the Ambulance... (Plugger has been on record as saying one...

Re: Recruitment

Every season each AFL club must recruit an average of just over 500 player games (508.75) A reasonable recruitment plan would require 1st round draft pick 200 games 2nd round draft pick 150 games 3rd round draft pick 100 games i.e. 200 games every two 3rd round picks 4th round draft pick 50 games i...

terrific news on Mini the kid has talent, he needs a bit of confidence and some positive coaching. IMO talent doesn't go, discipline, confidence, health, fitness and dedication may go, but talent is talent. Well done mini, I hope you grab this opportunity with both hands and make it work for you. p...

DEFINITELY NEED A TEAM IN WEST SYDNEY. That area is perfect for a second team and will help in finally destroying that rubbish known as rugby league. I posted on here about a week ago (on the roos to goldcoast thread) that the AFL plan to relocate the bulldogs to West Sydney . They had an agreement...

: 'Prat' is well known and commonly used in the UK to describe someone who is being stupid about something - as distinct from someone who may be permanently mentally slow. Origin? I don't know, but it's only been in use in this sense since the 1960s.

Oh dear...... a forum..... a place for debate and discussion. No, I don't know what each player is on. But I'm prepared to bet that Riewoldt is on more than Ball who is on more than Gilbert, for instance. As for being able to do their job - so what? In case you hadn't noticed footy is a spectator s...

Don't agree that X &R are soft at the ball. X in particular puts body on the line & has sometimes sustained injuries as a result. Feel this was unfair comment. I agree with you Jill, It amazes me how many formanites seem to want to get rid of half our list, anyone who makes AFL grade is pro...

homework, back in those days, drafting was like playing lotto. You heard a few good things from a mate about a bloke playing somewhere up in the country, and took him with your first pick. It was largely guesswork, and clubs did not have the full-time or even part-time recruiters they have now. Jam...

The proposal is similar to Collingwood's... transferring an existing away game up to the gold coast. IMO I would prefer to play West Coast, Port, Sydney and the Dockers AWAY from their own digs.... suits me fine !!

We have had an unimpressive tail for years, it's just now that it's exposed. Development of players like our current draftees, as well as guys like Allen, Geary, Eddy and Armitage who have all shown they have what it takes to be at least Montagna level. IMO we have had our tail exposed over the pas...

I reckon there is a fair possibility that in some games next year, both Gardiner and King will be unavailable - this would pave the way for McEvoy to battle it with Rixy for the chance to partner Kosi as a ruck combo. I think Luke van Rheenen will play NAB cup as he had a full season with the Scorp...

he said something like we rated ben 2nd pick...i think :?
I wonder who we rated #1 then... Kreuzer or Cotchin? Or someone else?
We would have rated Kreuzer No1 for St Kilda because we were after a ruckman as priority.....
