I'm sure this has already been highlighted, but just one more time. I checked out the replay yesterday and there was a tackle Dal Santo laid on a Cat, which spilled out of his hands, swooped up by Lenny Hayes and the umpire calls advantage. Lenny then goes on to shank the kick and the pill end ups b...

Last year we came off an amazing win against the hawks, only to lose to a

depressingly under-manned eagles the following week. No win is ever a

given, always one week at a time, I'll live by the cliche as long as it banks

another four points!

Geelong won the free kick count on the day and the Saints still won. Of course, the advantage call certainly didn't favor Geelong when it was paid but you rarely get an epic without controversy. The Ablett 50 that was paid when he clearly played on was also a shocker, same as the free against Milne ...

Re: "Hot Cats learn a grand lesson" Heraldsun

As Kevin Sheedy told Superfooty yesterday in predicting a Geelong premiership: "The Cats will win it. Nothing surer. It would be unforgivable for Geelong to lose two in a row. They would have to live with themselves for the rest of their lives." Now that's pressure. How they handle it, st...

It will be live on Main Event for the Northern states. Safest bets are Club Swan in Kings Cross, they pride themselves on being the AFL pub of Sydney that show almost every game live. Also, the Alexandria Hotel which is a five minute walk from Redfern station, which is where the Harbour City Saints ...

Think about it, if Geelong had have won last year, their heads, their arrogance would have grown to a possible impossible standard to maintain. They would have started this year thinking they we're absolutely invincible and maybe believing that they only need to turn up to win. They would have noth...

I remember Billy Brownless saying that his understanding was that Scarlett had said to Harvey "you wont be playing us again this year", pretty much what everyone thought he said. But Harvey's response was something along the lines of "you're all so arrogant, you wont win the grand fin...

While we're at it, lets debate how well Ablett, Judd and Goodes would fit into our midfield. People just need to get over the fact we didn't recruit Cousins and get on with the season already. Guess what, Juddy was shopping around two seasons ago and we didn't get him. Oh, but we don't debate the wo...

I think players like Geary, Mini and even Dal, Ball and Joey wouldn't be playing the football they are now, because they might just look to Cousins being the link in a chain that will just automatically fire when he slots in. Geez, I hope we win on Sunday. Why do I get the feeling that this forum wi...

"Cats have played two bottom four teams in the last three weeks and although I understand that's two trips to Subi, they have still had the chance to reel in on our percentage but have walked away with just a 22 and 18 point win in the bank." to be fair to them, do you think we would have...

Apart from a new coach, teams in Richmond's position often rise for the occasion when they play the top team. Would either be a thrashing or a tight contest, keep in mind that we certainly haven't "owned" them in the last three encounters. I'm interested to see what happens with Cousins. D...

I'll take the 23%. Agreed, would love the gap to be more, but the Cats have played two bottom four teams in the last three weeks and although I understand that's two trips to Subi, they have still had the chance to reel in on our percentage but have walked away with just a 22 and 18 point win in the...

DAMN RIGHT WITH EVERY POINT RAISED! I'm f**king sick of all those sooks and their glass half-empty bulls**t. We are 12-ZIP people, bloody enjoy it FFS. I wouldn't go as far to say that they're a good team, but certainly a team on the improve. The reality is, no one has really buried them this year. Their biggest loss so far was to Port by 57, a good win but no demolition. Both the Pies and the CATS beat them by 43, then we have the next best at 37....

Disgusting Ferals

Of all the games I've been to, I have never seen a bigger bunch of obnoxious, disrespectful ferals in my life and I've been to matches in Adelaide. The Dee supporters were disgusting! We have now beaten ALL interstate teams!

Which I'll take as a bloody big positive! An even bigger positive, of our nine scalps, five of those are current top eight teams, two of which are currently top four, who we are also four wins clear of. I'll admit, our last two wins were far from convincing, the playing group is certainly fatigued a...
