Quite simply should be our clash jumper now.... If its not broke it don't need fixing.. :x Should be resurrected but I won't hold my breath... If they asked the members would be overwhelming voted back in ... no doubt... Believe the players loved it as well. A brilliant jumper that looked ab...

If that was the Candy Stripe jumper, I was the one who sold it you.

Glad you like it :D

As a matter of interest, when was the first Heritage round jumper? Was it 2003 (Candy stripe) for Burkies last game against tigers? Yep, that was it. We've had four over the course. My favourite has to be the 06 one, with the large white panel - that's probably why I'm a fan of the new clash jumper...

2004 Heritage Jumper

Hi All,

I'm keen to get my hands on a Saints 2004 Heritage Round jumper. I understand my chances are slim, as it's obviously rare as hens teeth, but if anyone is looking at selling one in the future, by all means let me know.

Cheers

Re: Sorry Everyone but we cant win it!!!

Just went through our list and i thought it was ok,but to be honest i dont think we can win the Flag. We will make the 8 and more than likely make the top 6 but when it comes to beating the likes of GELLONG OR HAWTHORN i think we are a fair way off them. Recuiting Farren Ray for me is just replacin...

Why Am I Not Worried?

Maybe because it was the NAB Cup? Maybe because a good portion of our best 22 were missing? Maybe because SOS was coaching? Maybe because we kicked 7 goals to their 2 in the second half? Maybe because I saw Goddard played some super football? Maybe because King and Gardy smashed the ruck contests? M...

Probably should have added to '04 semi final victory over the Swans at the G. Not only a good rebound from that massacre Brisbane gave us the week before, but being from Sydney and hating the Swans, always good wipe the smirk from those fickle supporters.

I'd throw Round 4 2005 v Melbourne in there. The Dees were undefeated atop the the ladder with a percentage greater than 150. We were without a number of our big name players including Riewoldt, Kosi and Harvey. Cam Bruce was running hot and was the early Brownlow favourite. Guerra layed a perfectl...

Yeah! Schwarze always had his critics, me included! But that moment will still be remembered for years to come!

Classic Matches of the last five seasons

Since the 2004 season, we have had some absolute ripping victories. Here is my cream of the crop. 2004 Round 6 - Saints defeat Lions - The one point blockbuster was almost a bitter sweet victory due to the Aussie Jones behind, but still a darn fine match. 2005 Qualifying Final - Saints defeat Crows ...

It's refreshing to hear everyone enjoying the memory of that victory for what it was...a fantastic victory. I was expecting the usual rehash, "Essendon were under-manned, had Rama kicked the goal then top 4 was gone", etc. It was an amazing victory and that's how it should be remembered.

When I first read this title, I wondered if it was about something else. In the 1970s, I can remember having a badge that said "Red, White and Black". And sometimes I've seen people say "Red, Black and White". Is there one DEFINITIVE version of these colours? One clear statement...

Red, White and Black

I was in a bookstore the other day and came across a little pocket book in the sports sections, titled RED, WHTE AND BLACK. It was basically a 2004 season in review with profiles on players, coaching staff and the board. Troy Schwarze was labelled as being the "utility", the Clarke brother...

We're all entitled to our opinions but I agree with AF, it's traditional and pay's homage to our heritage, a good overall jumper. The candy stripe jumper is gone, we have to get over it! Didn't hear supporters before asking why can't we have a traditional clash like Collingwood or Essendon? Now we h...

2007 was definitely the Believe Or Burn campaign - what I got in my membership pack was a small red, oval shaped pin saying simply "Believe or Burn", thus I'd dare say that was the 2007 members pin.

I didn't mind it, I quite liked the fact it showed us not only our highlights of all our matches but also the highlights of the opposition, gave us a real sense of where the boys were at as a team on the day. Pretty much the minimum of what you want from a season highlights compilation, ast least it...
