Re: Wangaratta Weather

Well the locals sound pretty upbeat this morning. Apparently the ground looks pretty good, they've got 'plenty of pies and sausage rolls and the stuff in cans,' and are predicting that most of tomorrow's rain will fall further north.

Re: Watters on SEN tomorrow 7.30am

I heard most of it whilst in the bleary haze of driving to work. Might be able to vaguely recall some of it. Scott was very articulate and diplomatic as usual. Tim/Andy asked if he felt pressure as it had been said that the Saints were going to play with more 'flair'. Scott said he had never used th...

Re: The 2012 'over reliance on Roo thread'

I think we can be sure that the new footy brains at the club will be working on making our forward entries more effective. Not that surprising, I guess, that some resorted to bombing it long somewhere in the vicinity of Roo in the first formal game of the season. Fingers crossed that some smarter st...

Re: The 2012 'over reliance on Roo thread'

I really hope we can sort this out this year. Also see Roo demanding the ball when he's far from clear and in very poor position. Must be hard for the young guys to look elsewhere.Schneider looking inboard for Kosi in game 1 was a refreshing forward entry. I hate it when he leads to the boundary - ...

Re: Gary Ayres possibly NOT coming to Saints

Lady by the name of Peta Searle was on SEN this morning talking about her appointment as Assistant coach at Port Melbourne. She said she will be defensive line coach under GARY AYRES. Spoke about how her interview went for a few hours and it was mainly AYRES who was doing the interviewing. She star...

A courageous and insightful article in my opinion. How many times did Ross implore the team this year 'what does this club stand for?' Players and supporters bought in to what seemed to be an inspiring message. Empty words Ross.

Dismayed beyond belief at Lyon's shafting of the players and our club. I had always respected him. Would never stop supporting the Saints or buying my membership. Have an intense dislike of Malthouse however and would be very alarmed if we went down that particular track. FQF

Very pleasing experience buying my tickets at 'the kennel' this morning. Just a few happy Saints supporters in the queue and all the Bulldogs players milling around getting ready for Mad Monday.

Felt [quietly] quite smug :D :D :D

Level 2 Aisle 27 row H for us.

Very very interesting to see Kos do an extended interview. He was way more poised and comfortable than I expected. I think they would have been very happy with the insights he shared. Darcy seemed to be encouraging and congratulating him going into the ad breaks at times. It's clear why he's well li...

I'm far from an expert but ironically it's possibly the gym which has provoked the onset of his compartment syndrome.

In some cases this syndrome developes in response to a fairly rapid increase in muscle tissue in a limb.

Good luck to Jamie.
