I haven't been able to check all the data, but I think it's our lowest winning score since 2010.

Webster is possibly the worst player to put on the jumper. He doesn't even try.

A pity for him (he's quite distraught) and the team. Since his return, he has ben playing his best footy for the club in my view - far fewer mistakes and a few contested marks. But I guess he will be out for a while.

Re: Darcy Wilson

Darcy Wilson is the new Darrel Baldock... There are a couple of similarities. First, he has great skill on both sides - not only in kicking but in handball. That was something back in the 50s and 60s displayed by triple Brownlow Medallists. After watching the replay of yesterday's game, I gave him ...

He took Harley Reid a few times in the last quarter at centre bounces and did well. I thought his game was good for the first one this year.

Re: Enjoy the win

Away wins are particularly satisfying for two reasons. First, it gives the Saints fans who live there something to experience and cheer about. Second, it provides the cheer squad, who made the long trek to fly the flag, with a memorable trip away in another city. I guess some of them went by bus, a ...

Re: Windhager

Jack Steele was on Reid in the first quarter and kept him quiet. Steele was released in the second quarter and Dow went to Reid. Worked alright most of the time until WC had a dominant period at the centre bounce and Reid, being untagged and alone on the defensive side of the ball up, capitalised. W...

Re: Gawn 8 StKilda 10

The only way to out reach someone who is significantly taller is to out jump them or to push them with your body (not hands) away from the ball drop. Jason Blake was able to out ruck most of the best ruckman who were taller than him for short periods. Jumping takes energy. So, two or three against G...

Re: No injuries - No excuses

Most of our players are about 85% of the skill level required in a top 8 team. Today, our few top players were dragged down to that level. Sometimes, game plan and effort can make up for that, to gain a win. We are 15 players away from a top team and there really isn't much we can do about it. One w...

It sounds like a wonderful idea. Certainly better than having a drink every time we score a goal, which could leave one feeling a little thirsty. Plenty of drinks in this patch: Round 8 2004 St Kilda 21 12 Collingwood 13 13 Round 9 2004 St Kilda 26 13 West Coast 9 14 Round 10 2004 St Kilda 31 10 Ca...

Re: Sack Lyon

It's a game plan to enable a team of low skilled and slow players to stay with better teams in the hope they we might win on the back of their errors. It's worked pretty well. Just how we replace 15 players, in order to be a top four team and threat for the flag, will be a bit tricky.
