Or pay $5.50 for a reserved seat prior to the game. A reserved seat ticket will still be needed on Friday night but will be free, if available, as noted by LennyBoy.

I was there when the Doc, wearing a Collingwood (Des Tuddenham's) jumper, lifted the cup. I want to see someone wearing a St Kilda jumper lift the cup before I die. I hope you have longevity in the family in that case. PS I was there in '66, only had a standing room ticket which would have been a b...

"Hall king-hits Jarman" in my dreams!

Yes, just 11 short years ago, imagine if last weekend's punch had been thrown just before half time. What a shocking thing it would have been. I would have been 'outraged'.

The again, had we won the game, the AFL may well have found some "procedural" reason to reverse the result.

Chris Judd was selected All Australian in 2004. Ball was close, but not Hodge. Both Luke Ball and Luke Hodge were selected in 2005. They have different qualities. Certainly Chris Judd matured earlier than the other two, playing 22 games in his first year with Hodge playing 15 and Luke Ball none (bec...

Why are we such pathetic kicks, especially for goal?

So much good work, so much hard slog - then a mark thirty metres out on a slight angle - and the result is ?- a point (if we are lucky). Contrast, in the first quarter at least, Geelong, less than half the number of forays into the forward zone and finally a mark thirty metres out but on a sharp ang...

Because it wasn't behind play, a lot of people saw it. The most important person who saw it was the umpire who was looking straight at it less than 10 metres away. Like most of us, he could not believe that X did not see the guy. True, he was trotting along making no effort to tackle the Cat player ...

I like and admire Blake. He's courageous, he's loyal, he runs to space exceptionally well, he's a terrific mark, and he tries his guts out, every time. Unfortunately he is a klutz. This affects significant parts of his game -- handballing, tackling, decision making, etc etc etc. So he's a credit to...

Re: How Thomo would attack Geelong this week

luke penny was terrible anyway... Wrong. The two players from 2004/05 who made us a premiership team were Luke Penny and Aaron Hamill, a quality backman who rarely made mistakes and took saving marks and a forward who was tougher than any backman and kicked the crucial goal. Had both been fit in th...
