Re: Jack Steven
I’m a bloke who takes things on face value. If a young man needs a break, especially one who has put his heart and soul into this club, so be it. Would you rather hear about him doing damage or worse to himself? Just remember Majak Daw if a very lucky young bloke who gets a second chance

Re: Rate our draft
Reckon with the recruitment of mature aged recruits we are putting some of our lesser performing more highly touted blokes on notice- step up, or step aside. Newnes, Savage, Lonie, Paddy, Dunstan, Acres, just to name a few

Trade Values
Not a regular poster, but I'm interested in what people think our players would be worth on the open market. Not saying any particular player should be traded, but what are our stocks? Here's what I reckon Hickey- Maybe a third rounder Carlisle- First round Steven- First round plus maybe a third rou...

Re: The Official (Real) Round 3 Team
Geez I dunno how its gunna go with young Marshall against Jacobs with only Bruce as a back up option. Probably says more about our ruck stocks, ideally we'd be playing Marshall as a tall forward pinch hitting in the ruck to learn his craft. Hope it dosen't get too ugly for the young bloke

Re: Roo's book. What did we think?
The biggest thing for me was the absolute lack of literate regarding Scott Watters...love the way he hardly mentioned Watters throughout his book...yet he was the Senior Coach for 2 years whilst Nick was the captain???? Reading between the lines, this says it all

Re: Team v Eagles
Please please retain White...surely one of the shining lights of last week. If it's between Weller or White....I don't care if they play different roles...we need blokes who a) don't panic when they've got the ball, b)make good decisions and c)can kick well....

Re: Would anyone care
Wouldn't care in the slightest. Can confirm re the cross dresser (yep its true, 3 times brownlow medialist, twice with us :), I knew the bloke who was the team Doctor at the time. God he was good at telling me about the past, reckons that the only team he ever caught with amphetamines before a game ...

Re: Anyone at the Sandy game??
I loved the reports last year, listing every one of the AFL listed blokes who played. I know it's just the preseason...but...hope they do the same this year. Everyone who backs us wants to know how Freeman played- some sort of honesty...and please not some PC rubbish like "he ran to the right p...

Re: f*** you umpires you cheats
I actually wonder if we didn't miss a massive opportunity. The pride game...if there ever was an opportunity for us mid way through the 3rd when it all turned to s&%t...have Roo go up to the umpires and say "this needs to stop or we are walking off". Just imagine that defining moment.....

Hey bloke,
Can't help with any Home and Away games, but still have the 1996 preseason grand final on VHS! And truth be known, just occasionally just watch the 3rd quarter!!!

Re: Josh Bruce has gone mad.
Loved the big blokes game on the weekend also. Echo the sentiments of some here that we should remain optimistic, but cautious also. Being an old bugga that remembers numbers, I reckon the last blokes to pop up from no where to kick a half dozen in a game were Daniel Healy (against WCE?) and Steve S...

Re: Eat your heart out
To be honest, who gives a crap. Tom Hawkin's goal actually hit the post. Scarlett fluked the toe poke. Schneider was held running towards goal. Roo was injured. The ball bounced the wrong way on Milney. Why go over this shite again? What is done is done. We have an exciting young team who is 3 and 2...

Re: VFL - Rd 1, Sandringham vs Frankston
The Box Hills McEvoy is his younger brother Pete. A quality young bloke, promising junior. Suffered a head injury which delayed his development, then went off to Tassie for Uni. Tore it up in one of the local leagues in Tassie last year, hasn't given up on the AFL dream. Hard running forward, around...

Schneider
Ok, long time follower, first time that I've submitted anything, so be gentle guys! Schneider- creative, excellent kick, good aerobic capacity, good footy brain, coming back from injury, easily in our best 22. But where does he fit into a forward line thats working well and boasts Milne, Milera and ...
