Re: What I am Proud of ......
Interesting reflections.
It seems we have quite a number of posters of a similar vintage - 48 myself (and only 2 jobs...).
I truly hope my kids stick with them (the Saints that is).

Re: Freeman WILL debut this year!
So, is he right to play or not? Couldn't work it out from the thread. A simple answer, please. If we had a game tomorrow only three wouldn’t be considered- 10, 18 and 36. Meatball and Juice would be iffy. Who is Juice? Josh Bruce, I believe - at least that's my preferred shout rather than "Bru...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Port Round 19 2017
Gee Ricuitto (? Spelling) has the 'hates' for Josh Bruce - he pots at him at every opportunity. He won't even give him a smiddgen of credit for the efforts Bruce continually puts in Spot on. He was supposed to have somehow stopped tracking the flight of the ball back and crashed forward into the Po...

That free kick against Blake that gifted them a goal looked a shocker - he had a handful of the top of the Port player's jumper!

It proved that the naysayers around here are conspicuous in their absence during and after great performances.

How does this fit with those claiming that Richo won't drop "favourites" or make changes post a win?

Re: St.Kilda's accuracy in front of goal - An incredible sta
The most incredible thing about this stat is that we are in the 8 - so we must be doing something right! This same thought has been playing on my mind since Sunday. Is the generally negative perception (as judged by the tone of this forum) of our overall performance this season failing to pay suffi...

Very good first quarter! 10 possessions after that... finished again with 18... Overall an OK game. Midfield was belted in the last Q. great first quarter putrid last quarter (did he get a stat?) been his problem .. Seems good in stats up to half time for the year and poor after half time Can anyon...

Granted Dunstan should have kicked goals, however he was not on his Pat Malone there.coopergrech wrote:Lonie and Dunstan both bad again....
He was clearly sharing (with Jack Steele) the negating role on Pendlebury - and quite effectively too.

Re: VFL Rd 1 Sandy vs Bombers
I too thought Paddy was pretty good - took several marks at the ball's high point and probably should have kicked 4 (missed an easy shot in the last that was important). Barring injuries in the ones though (touch wood), I doubt that he did enough to demand an immediate recall. As is obvious, Minch w...

Well perhaps he should work a bit hard Maybe look at the 35yo with a rooted knee?! No sympathy, he's meant to be an elite talent... pigs arse It has nothing to do with concern for Paddy's feelings. It is, to quote the club's marketing, about "how I want to be". Hoping to publically humili...

I will preface this by noting that I watched the game streamed to my iPad in Phuket.
In the last quarter when Paddy took a low down chest mark, I am confident I heard an ironic cheer.
Very disappointed if it was Saints "supporters". Please, let's not be that type of club.

Re: Nathan Freeman. This is it.
Good luck to him! Standing by for a late withdrawal due to 'hamstring awareness' I've heard he's now reached "hamstring enlightenment" where he has realised the illusionary nature of hamstrings and has moved beyond them. I saw him at training trying to cover the whole ground whilst not mo...
