Re: Why Saints Must Finish Bottom 4 2023
The way the injuries are mounting we will have no option than to finish in the bottom end of the ladder

Re: Round 1 side
If I remember correctly Hamill removed a few teeth for Scott as a pay back but was the only one that evened up.
Scott didn’t squeal about it which was probably the only decent thing he did in his entire career

Likely to finish 13th but possibly as low as 16th the injury curse seems to have struck early and with our luck will probably continue

Re: King and Caminiti
By the end of the season Keeler may have gone past Corey, Caminiti and Sharman. He could also be a better backup ruckman

Re: Round 1 side
Would prefer Campbell or even Heath to Corey, better back up for Marshall. Sharman’s set shot ability may also put him just in front of Caminiti. If completely fit Windy must play otherwise Bytel. Our one paced midfield worries me, the only answer at present could be Sincs, with Coff at half back. G...

Same old Saints, slow, loose and poor skills, may get a little better but probably not a lot. Top five draft pick heading our way.

RTB to change his stripes and give the younger players a chance if their form is good

If RTB is up to his old form we are unlikely to see any of these picks for a long while and probably last years crop will be relegated to Sandy who should be more competitive next season,

Re: our best 22 for 23 - according to the AFL
You’ve taken a long shot Killa, Adams is a poor mans Allison and neither will make it but Heath maybe a chance. Really need to find another tall with our second round picks or in pre season or mid year drafts.

The premiers are a destination club and a bit smarter than us which explains their earlier pick. I’ll be more pissed off if or when they get an easier fixture than us for 2023.

Doubt Narkle would be a good pick up Saint Bob, in any case I think he is a delisted free agent and would not cost a draft pick

Re: Looking forward to 2023?
Think we will slip down a few places on the ladder. Not that our on field performance will change much but the teams that finished below us will improve. It’s hard to see us improving as we have missed out on De Goey, Amon and pulled out of the race for the Bowes deal. Appears our recruiting people ...

Probably at least the equal on Daniher but maybe shaded by Lynch, Hawkins, Franklin, Cameron, brother Ben, Wright and Naughton, if he could learn to lead and kick he could round a few of them up

It’s all a bit academic, even if we took the Bowes deal our clowns would only have one more first round draft pick to stuff up.

Re: De Goey offered 5 years from the Pies .
We have got to have a win on any deals, forget De Goey, take Bose and pick 7 from GCS picking up his payments, Long to GCS for a second round pick in separate deal, Hill to North for late 1st or early 2nd round pick but no ongoing payments. If Hill deal stalls only then look at moving Clark out on a...

Re: Josh Battle: @ CHB KPP. What is the verdict?
Currently our best option at CHB, Lion’s Darcy Gardiner is free agent and a little taller and may want to come back to Victoria. Adams does not look all that promising so we really need to find a tall defender as Battle is not tall enough for the monster forwards. I believe we would have taken Gibus...
