Re: nm fans bashing saints team
as I live in Perth, a relocation will actually be good for me, because more of our games would be on Free-To-Air TV in Perth. I don't get over to Melbourne much, so I only see them live when they fly here to Perth. There is a town called Perth in Tassy... On the midland highway ...easy move for you.

Re: Assessment in The Australian 2/4/18
Ouch!!! Dennim always has a knock on the Saints ... but he's about on the mark in my opinion. Must admit I'm not quite as exited about the season as I was before it started. There's so much wrong at the moment it's hard to see us turning it around .... There has to be a review of some sort of the wh...

Re: The Worst Type of Supporter
I woke up to see this tweet by some spoilt brat millennial: https://twitter.com/AdamBarclay86/status/979655987580649472 It makes me sad and think that it only damages the club. If he comes crawling back, he should be given a red nose to wear at Saints matches. The video reflects the IQ of the "...

Re: The reason we are heading back down.
I'll take the OP on in his bagging of Geary as Captain , ... You should read a book that was a result of the most successful teams ever in sport.. the common theme was that they were led by a certain type of captain ... and Geary fits the mold almost perfectly the book would suggest that Geary is a ...

Re: We need to talk about our rucks.
I have a lot of old posts (and differences of opinian) about rucks with a now retired poster and one of my posts showed that we were a bit below the average on ruck stocks in 2016, almost every team had at least the same or more . I'll make the point (as I did dozens of times) that getting rid of ou...

Re: North vs Saints - Round 2
In the past we would drop this game... I'm hoping we have matured enough not to let it slip. Then two from two gives us some confidence going into a much harder next few games.

Re: We need to talk about our rucks.
Don't understand why anyone who watches the game doesn't think third man up was important to sides without a big bodied dominant ruckman Two teams that fell by the wayside were the Dogs who relied on third man up Geelong also relied very heavily on third man up We relied on third man up when Hickey ...

Re: Do we stick with three tall forwards?
Interesting that jimmy Bartell ( who's football knowledge I really rate) said that the Saints should go with three talls and not follow the way some sides have gone smaller. Thinks it will work and cause more headaches to opposition backlines because they have to pay attention to them all. Thinks th...

Re: Confusion moving the ball into the fwd line
Methinks... we just rush to much moving it forward and moving in a hap hazard way ... just not taking that split second to weigh up options.. not sure if that a coaching mantra ...but the best players always seem to have more time to pick a good or better option . Could be a maturity thing hopefully...

No doubt... he's going to be a superb talent...
By the end of this season barring injury he will be in your top five easily.
There is so much to like , so much upside at this stage of his career he's every bit as good as anyone

Jeff Dunne in one year polled 13 votes in the Brownlow, polling in 13 games. He had two amazing seasons in defence and was then thrown into the midfield. After that his form deteriorated and he retired in his lat 20s Make of his what you will Jeff Dunne was a great player and I used to live watchin...

Re: Revised title: How can the Saints retain members better?
I'm so disappointed by some of the replies in this thread. It's a club. It should service its members. It should find ways to make those members feel valued and included. (By the way - when did St Kilda become a corporate entity? Why are we talking about it like that? Isn't it a collective of like-...
