We all seem to go on about Harves defecting to the Blues - I know I know, it still churns my stomach when I see him in the navy blue. But let's not forget that we also have the Blues favourite son, and he's doing a bloody good job.

The guy is an absolute tool. If memory serves me right, he was the one who wanted to control everything, including the football department. All of a sudden, he had nothing to do with anything that went on in the Club. He was also the driving force to give Tassie the flick (Hawthorn is laughing all t...

And what about the family day at Franston tomorrow!! How does that work. We have nothing to do with them![/quote] Frankston was (originally) not a bad idea. Frankston could have been a second Geelong – at the other end of the Bay. They could have eventually captured the whole city, the oval being ...

Why??

There are a few things that currently puzzle me. We won the NAB cup last year and finished fourth on the ladder, BUT… • On the membership ladder, we’re about fourth from the bottom • Our membership is down on the same time last year, while (apart from Essendon) every other club’s is up •...

Are you guys kidding me??? What’s good about this board?? St. Kilda is the most invisible club in the competition. Westaway who? Do we ever hear or see him. What about our high-profile board members such as Nathan Burke or Andrew Thompson. Where are they - do I ever hear or see them. What do they ...

Re: More Press BS

Of course the other thing we keep hearing from the press is that 4th flattered us. The problem I have with this comment is - what exactly does it mean? Does it mean that if Adelaide or Collingwood, North or Sydney had made 4th position, they would have deserved it more?? The fact remains that there ...

Re: Ross' NEW House !!

Reported on the Sunday Footy Show that Ross Lyon bought a New house at Auction YESTERDAY. The house is in Templestowe (a long way from Moorabbin, even further from Frankston/Seaford) The cost $1.6Mill !! Does that mean h'ell be coaching the Templestow U10 nest year? Oh bugger - no such luck!!!

Why don’t we all banter some statistics around. Apart from the Cats, St. Kilda was the best performed team over the last 10 games with 8 out of 10, next comes North with 7 out of 10, then the Hawks with 6 out of 10, then the Pies and the Bullies with 5 out of 10 and last but not least the Swans wi...

Surely we have history in sacking coaches. Then so has Richmond, and even Hawthorn had a few changes recently. The question is - should a coach, who clearly has no motivation skills and a big question mark over his coaching ability, stay simply because we have a bad history with coaches. Is two year...

Sorry didn't finish my post. Okay, maybe it wasn’t a spear tackle. Wrong expression on my part. To me it looked all the same - Milburne’s and Surjan’s - and I’m not saying it’s right to suspend somebody for this. I just wanted to make a point that if it’s dangerous without the ball, it s...

GSG Where did you get this "spear tackle" crap from? Milburn and Surjan's tackles were nothing like a "spear tackle", outlawed in the NRL. A "spear tackle" is where you lift a player off the ground, turn him upside down and smash him headfirst into the ground. Let's no...

Milburn was suspended because it was deemed to be a dangerous tackle, i.e. to “spear tackle’ somebody into the ground could cause very serious injuries. At least this is the explanation I heard on radio. Harvey was spear-tackled and almost drilled into the car park below and, above all, he neede...

Can't be bothered reading through 6 pages of whinging so forgive me if these points have already been brought up. Every single ruck infringement against us (was about 4 or 5) was there IMO. Joey SHOULD have had a 50 paid against him when he smacked the footy out of the hands of a Port player who ha...

Free kick count???

I was away interstate and did not see the game, nor got it on the radio. I assume we played badly, but still, I was shocked to see the free kick count – 29-10. I’m not saying we didn’t deserve the frees against us, but II find it hard to believe that the Eagles, particularly with a few young, ...

Malcolm Blight took the St. Kilda coaching job purely for the money, the $1m offered. I clearly remember how shocked I was at Blighty’s tirade about St. Kilda only a few months before, such as …basket case ….. the club should not be in the AFL at all!! and much worse Then he accepts a coaching...

To tell you the truth, to a point a certainly agree with TTSF, but this would not make me change clubs. I’ll always support the Saints. But, yep, this is definitely the worst run club. Butterrs had his fair share of criticism, but he did pay off the debts and kept club in the black. His big mistak...
