Re: Siposs

What is his motor like? I am not sure of his endurance, but if they could get him as a wingman he could be a good link .... he is a booming kick and has good hands.

Re: Clint Jones just kick the goal...

Clint is one of my favourite players ..... but my grandmother had more chance of kicking that goal than Clint ... and Clint knows he cant kick to save himself (he has two non preferred sides for kicking .... ). Clint is an in and under, tagging, handball specialist thorugh and through

Re: Judd - Am I missing something?

Baker would have got 11 weeks for that. Betcha Judd gets nuddin. hahahaha ...... no Baker would have been give 11 years and criminal charges laid. Is Judd becoming the dirtiest "clean" player ever to play. He is near to the top of everones "we love" list and "cant do no wro...

Around the ground Milne goes missing too easily. If he isnt getting the ball push him up. Try a pitch hit with him from the middle as a one off. He is hardly and gather and run type player. Far to valuable near the goal. 3 kicks 3 goals. Would think from the center it would be 3 kicks 3 turnovers. L...

I say trade him now. If they want him they will get him, eg $$$$$$$$$ that the Saints cant compete with. It could be the answer the Saints need. Swap Goddard for 2 picks in the top 5 and pick in the teens (effectively 3 round 1 picks, or one of their 17 year olds instead of pick in the teens). Saint...

Riewaldt should not be the captain. He is mentally soft. He will become a better player if he relinquishes the captaincy. He is an on field leader and will always be. However when it counts he does not stand up. He doesnt kick the goals that he should, doesnt stand up in finals. Lenny is the natural...

Fit Gardiner is in best 22. We need him if the Saints are to go anywhere in September. Kosi has only played well in isolated quarters. Big Mac did well in the ruck on the weekend. Who cares if you dont get the tap but you win the clearance.

DO you want to replace Jess Smith place in the team (formally the position of X Clarke). .... in the rehab room.

You couldnt be serious thinking of trading one of the best young recruit we have for a player that cant string 4 games together without breaking down.

One thing is for sure, if you have a game plan that only realistically allows 30 shots a game at goal (at most), you would want to put away the set shots. Totally Totally unacceptable to be 15m directly infront and scrape it in for a point Goddard

The game has been over complicated with strategies, game plans and structures. If you ask someone to sum up the point of a game in a sentence it would go along the lines of "Kick the ball through the big sticks". I am just dumb founded that the skill that is most neglected in practice is k...

Goal Kicking

Damien Hardwick said tonight on On the Couch (Foxtel). Players dont practice kicking at goal as they dont have the time at training and the conditioning staff dont like it as it can add to injury. It is obvious that players dont practice. Yes key forwards have a bit of a kick and giggle at the end o...

We are looking old and slow. The player just seem to be going through the motions, but there is definately a lack of structure around the forward line.
Flooding and stagnated ball movement will be found out this year. Time to refresh, inject some youth and get some better free wheeling ball movement.

slow the game dow n....hahahaha ... increase rotations yes. The teams will use it as a weapon. really how often do players get so hurt they cant go back on?
Send a player out to run flat chat for a half. Never stop running. Then replace them in the 3rd quarter. Slow the game down I think not.

The Saints problem comes from their backline. They need to compensate (for whatever reason) and therefore get drawn into the flood too often. The Saints look good on the "fast break". Realistically this 'fast break' occurs when they dont get dragged to far up the ground and hold their posi...

I like Big Mac, but he is still a project player. He doesnt win many taps, doesnt win much around the ground. Realistically all he is in the game for is to give Gardiner a break. Kosi needs to step up. THe only time he has looked good this year is when he is in the ruck. We will need Baker on Didak ...
