I wear a few hats - Saints supporter, Casey resident, Scorpions supporter and a few others as well probably. I agree with you that Frankston or Casey is 6 of one and half a dozen of the other from a simple locational point of view for the club and supporters who live further afield. There are benef...

Re: MELBOURNE SAINTS

The demons have dropped the name demons in hope of securiong a merger and i for one think this would be ideal for us!! If Moorabbin goes rather MCG than Casey grounds!!! Both Bayside kind of teams its not like merging with the west or north parts of melbourne. Get to play MCG, stay in Melbourne Wou...

Re: Fiora: Is he still soft???

Fiora was most of our favourite players to bag the shyte out of due to his softness up and until this season began. IMO he has turned the corner somewhat.....whilst he is not as hard as we'd like to him to be, he's certainly proved his worth in the side and is far more valueable now than 12 months ...

Hamill and Guerra were huge losses in that regard. Milne played his best footy when Hamill was in the side, due mainly to the pressure that Hamill created. More pressure, more fumbles and more turnovers - therefore more loose balls and crumbs. MadSaintGuy does raise a good point in that everyone ha...

Ken, I, as a young bloke was unfortunate to have become a Saints supporter after the successful era of the 60's, which meant that during the late 70's & early 80's it was a hard time to barrack for them; those that remember will remember the ridicule it sometimes brought. Any success we have had...

By the way - as both are still considered possible options by the club - why was Moorabbin and Juntion Oval left of the preffered list? The question was, apart from Moorabbin, where would you like to see St Kilda based? (ie it was taking the emotion of Moorabbin out of the equation, or it was based...

Dan, the Eagles received Daniel Kerr with the pick we gave them for Gehrig. Not sure how we screwed them over there. I think we've been "brutal" enough, although maybe on-field we could have stood up a bit more often. remember 04 when we were roughing up the likes of Essendon and they did...

Re: Lyon Maintains Self-Belief (Article in Hun)

The way he carries that responsibility, especially in the initial stages, has been closely monitored, inside and outside the club. So far, in trying circumstances that have included losing his three best key defenders - Matt Maguire, Max Hudghton, and Sam Fisher - to injury, he has stood up well to...

ausfatcat, what question was asked? My understanding is that they rolled out their policy of non-drinking and non-narcotics!!! Non-narcotics FFS!!!! And then goes on to say that the incumbents shouldn't take offence. Rod Butterss could come back and say " No worries Mr Westaway...well our tick...

What they've shown is you hold your nerve and bring in support rather than looking for scapegoats. however, GT did not want support. the saints tried to get in a football manager and GT did not want that. They tried to take away control of contracts and GT did not want that. So what was supposed to...
