Re: Membrey tells his story
Well done Tim, extremely brave interview. Some of the comments on here at the time of the GWS final regarding Tim were beyond disgusting, truly the lowest this place has sunk. A self proclaimed ITK even claimed he knew the real story and Tim would never play for the club again due to his "self...

Re: Membrey tells his story
Regardless of the reason for the decision Tim made, which lead to him not taking part in the final last year, the stigma lies with the person wanting an explanation, not Tim. Life leads you to experiences, expectations lead you stigma. Stigma is the name of it, there is no elephant in the room, tha...

Re: Hunter Clark is injured again and looking at 6 weeks...
So, in recruiting players either by drafting or attracting them from other Clubs, the caveat with the St Kilda FC is that if you cop a couple of injuries which cost you game time, and which happen in the AFL competition some injuries costing a season, you are on your bike. St Kilda FC does not want...

Re: Ahead of opening round!
Debate and rivalry come hand in hand if you ask me. I tend to believe that dogma outweighs personality here and find it hard to draw conclusions on things like attention seeking being a personality flaw or personal choice If you're going to be opinionated, then you should check you sensitivities at ...

Howard v Larkey will be interesting. Also how we handle Sheezel and Uniake hyphen. Pou needs to impose himself, please. Howard will go to The Hyphen won't he. Wilkie to Larky Webster to Zurhaa. Marshall dropping in at the middle of the defensive 50? I'd give Shoey a crack at Larkey too and tell him...

Re: Enright and Carroll sign til end of 2026
The best news to our football program in years. It’s zero surprise to anyone who knows Damien and/or what he’s done at Hawthorn and Collingwood that our recent draftees are coming into the team with considerably better skills than previously. He’s a weapon of a development resource 👏🏻👏🏻 Between all...

Re: Hunter Clark is injured again and looking at 6 weeks...
Hunter Clark can play football. He is payed well to play football. There are other options that can be utilised. Then Hunter will have to get himself back in the team. 8 weeks of a younger player playing his role won't help our finals chances but it will improve our list. If Hunter is any good we wi...

Re: Training Reports
Seb goes at 65% uncontested and that hasn't really changed at any time. At his peak he received a lot of ball on the run. In a better side, 50% DE wouldn't be tolerated or rewarded as much as it was at St Kilda. Ratten exposed him and his disposal average dropped considerably. He would be a bench ro...

Re: Training Reports
Since Ratten asked Seb to swim between his flags in 2020, 50 of his 73 matches have been below 25 possessions. This is probably the reason he never Captained the club and the sacrifice for the benefit of the playing group makes him more of a leader than his out put. He was up in the 30's for a few y...

OMG S_D, I've just spent the last 8 weeks in the gym and lost 17kg on a calorie controlled diet, however, by April I might be interested. That looks like a good way to die of a heart attack. I have saved the Cafe link. Cheers I work close enough to there to make the trip - look me up if you want - ...

Yeah I deleted. I got suspicious about some spam I was sent and just thought I'd take a less direct route. Not planning to head out to the s*** farm this trip. Im thinking a few tram rides and some inner Melbourne street culture, markets, back packing, park walking and a lane tour would be enough. ...

Re: Jack Sinclair -calf issue
Hastie is a good defender, ranked number 1 for rebounds last year and is also a lovely kick and could really end up a Dempster type with more pace. At 190 he can play a very versatile game and could go into the midfield. The other Angus is another who will be looked at preseason for the same reasons...

Re: Jack Bytel training with Collingwood
I wouldn't discount a draft grabbing drop down the order, fire sale trades and a nice little draft top up at the end of the year. They aren't called the Collywobbles for nothing and the certainly are in any fear of slipping down the popularity stakes in terms of membership. They are also stacked wit...

Re: Jack Bytel training with Collingwood
Jack is a decent player. But they reserved there list spots for an age group for the exact reasons Vortex mentioned above. Hope he does well but I can't see him making too much impact and pushing his way in.
He is behind an AFL recruit.
