With Paddy out long term, there should be plenty of opportunities for Battle before seasons end.

Is Roo worth a list spot? What a stupid question. He has missed about three matches, and he is still one of our leading goal kickers. Only Bruce and Membrey have kicked more goals, and both have played more matches. They have each kicked 26, Roo has kicked 24 in 13 games.

Gary Rohan to the Saints? If there is any truth in it I am all for it. He is one of Sydney's better players. I cant see them letting him go.

In the team posted by SMS on the previous page, our forward line is far too small. We cant afford to haveLonie.174cm. and Gresham 178cm occupying the two foward pockets. At this stage I would have Marshall or Membrey replacing Lonie. Would look much stronger.

We missed Membrey and Longer big time. We also missed Jimmy Webster (back this week), and we have been missing Armo for weeks.

What is it about you people? Holmes last weekend had 62 hit outs. I can never remember a ruckman being that dominant in a game,even at VFL level. The opposition team, (Footscray) had a total of 12. Holmes has played five AFL matches, and has always tried hard and had a reasonable performance. After ...

I have also been pleased with the last two weeks selections.
Now over the next two weeks I want to see Rice and FReemo selected, then Marshall and one of the Irishmen. Then I know we are on track.
