Sympathy to J. Attard. But players like Gehrig are not helping the cause unless they produce under pressure in must-win games, same goes for Milne. Retire Gehrig and delist Milne. M Clarke is past it, and X Clarke for all his skill will never play out a full season due to chronic injury problems and...

Our list has deficiencies, though in 2004 we got on a run and gained confidence, but the Prelim against Port showed our deficencies which I think are still there. We lack a consistant strong crumbing forward or two, another strong running midfielder and another good big bodied backman and ruckman wh...

It means that when a player such as Baker gives his view of the "incident" he is deemed to be lying by the AFL. Clearly a premeditated outcome regardless of how much evidence was given.

The more the AFL brings down this kind of outcome, the deeper a credibility hole they dig for themselves. Usually in a legal system its innocent until proven guilty, but in AFL land it's guilty and that's that or if it's an infringment against a ST.Kilda player, especially head-high tackles and deli...

I reckon we should just go the biffo against the sacred cows of WA, keep the kangaroo court AFL tribunal busy with more nonsense decisions..St. Kilda player holding the ball --10 weeks penalty due to holding the ball in the past!!!! Lets have Boo fest..boo the stinking, rotten old-boys club known as...

I'm trying to imagine the logic of the AFL tribunal system and here's some examples of the way they must think.. Example 1.: Man convicted of drink driving is walking down the street, an old lady on the other side of the road falls over and hits her head on a parked car and sustains a nasty gash to ...

Woefully inconsistant is the tribunal system. It's unfortunate that our guys receive serious head unjuries (Ball, Kosi) which are always accidents or unintentional -bullS%^t!!! OK Baker made some kind of contact, but now I urge the managment of St.Kilda ro stand up for once, and show some leadership...

This will be a ploy by Freo until they can find someone in their club who saw anything in Freo's favour. How's this for a headline: "Brisbane Lions former star sees an incident with Baker and Farmer but didn't see it"

Interstate vs Interstate

Maybe someone can jog my memory.. if two interstate teams play each other and a player from each team gets reported for punching each other, do they both get off automatically on a technicality?

Theres' at least two things for sure out of this so far: 1. Farmer left the field dazed and bleeding. 2. Voss not knowing if he saw it (whatever it was he didn't see) or not and saying so publicly in front of tens of thousands of viewers. Generally as Sainters we see from past the few years: 1. Esse...

Another plus for Birss -we're a bit short on players who have good foot skills and can deliver the ball properly to forwards..he's no champion, but I'm sure he will always setup or kick a couple of goals while in the team, so he is worth a spot.

The fact that the only retaliation or reaction from Freo players was a bit later when they noticed Farmer was down with a bloody nose and Baker was his opponent -it indicates that GT was probably correct in that the players collided during play. M Voss, from his public statements clearly can't make ...

Let's see if it all fizzles out - Baker has already been tried by some people in the media through innuendo and if it came to a tribunal situation, I can't see how he would get a fair hearing. I'm confident it will come to nothing.

Who put a rocket under X & R down at Moorabbin this week??,,my votes:
3. Voss (took a nice mark and kicked a sausage)
2. Birss (did a nice footpass to someone)
1. S Gilbert (for doing a nice "dont argue" and getting out of a tackle)

Geelong have a VFL team made up of very good VFL standard players including Geelong AFL players. There's not many of those who are top AFL players though. As they have had a dream run with a lack of serious injuries, both the Geelong AFL and VFL have been able to settle as teams and as a result have...

I see someone else here has noticed our players seem to be more intent on preventing the opposition getting the ball instead of getting it first..in the midfield especially. GT clearly didn't put much emphasis on player development, and injury has been a factor for some. I think Watts and Brooks should be in the seniors from now on, but the rest of the players mentioned seem to me to be not up to senior level and should be delisted.
